JHRover Posted Friday at 11:41 Posted Friday at 11:41 I'd be surprised if it actually happens. Maybe I'll be shown to be wrong but suspect this is as much a publicity stunt as anything. It gets their owners all over the news and loads of positive PR, wins people over. The cringeworthy media videos with Brady, Bellingham and Peaky Blinders. Yuck. But actually getting it done - shovels in the ground and chimneys built - takes a lot more than big talk and famous faces doing videos. Again might be wrong but I'd be amazed if they or anyone else were coughing up £3 billion or whatever it will be to build this in a derelict corner of Birmingham whilst they are a Championship club struggling to fill a 30k stadium. If/when they get to the PL maybe a different matter. Quote

I don't think he's that arsed about us, he has no connection beyond managing us for almost a year, I don't think it's that deep for him. Like many he probably saw us as a stepping stone, it's just that on this occasion he made a sideways (at the time a step down) away from us which was galling for us, I don't think it keeps him awake at night. Out moronic owners keep me awake though. It's probably the satisfaction that came from the performance. They completely mugged us off in that game, it was the perfect away performance. Any manager would want to hang their hat on it. They've barely won any matches, so not surprising it stood out. Edited yesterday at 11:14 by StHelensRover Quote
roversfan99 Posted yesterday at 12:42 Posted yesterday at 12:42 You would expect him to take great pleasure in beating us. Beating a club (ie owners and management) that massively let him down and a fanbase of which a big chunk has given him lots of stick in the 2 games since he moved. Quote
Tugayisgod Posted yesterday at 13:00 Posted yesterday at 13:00 (edited) Southampton 4-0 up away at. Charlton. 4 goals in 8 mins 😲 Think they may stick with the guy in caretaker charge, he's really turned them round Edited yesterday at 13:01 by Tugayisgod Quote

superniko Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) 7 games before Christmas, 5 of them at home - not sure if that’s a good thing this season 😂 5 of the 7 are also bottom half sides, 4 of them below us in the table - again not sure if that’s a good thing this season!! Either way, I think it’ll be an interesting month for us, we have a really good chance to push on to the edge of the playoffs - we’d be set in 11th if the Ipswich result held, and beaten all 3 relegated teams. 7 games in 22 days though including yesterday, the squad can’t take many more injuries! sharpysharps86 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Derby winning again, into the top 6 they are at the moment. Not deal that Portsmouth are winning, equally so Oxford drawing with Boro currently. Norwich getting smashed at Brum. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Will Southampton give their interim head coach Tonda Eckert the job full time, winning games and scoring goals. Norwich under Phillippe Clement lost his first game. Vitor Matos set to be appointed as Swansea's head coach. Was Klopp's first team coach at Liverpool last season. Interesting choice there Its the Sheffield derby game today at 12pm. Should be good game to watch. Its does look like Sheffield Wednesday will go down but they will have new owners before Christmas, so they will get an early present. Edited 6 hours ago by chaddyrovers Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I never really understood the need for getting a neck full of ale before a game. As you get older and the weather gets colder the need for a piss can be a nuisance. Especially now everybody is in seats. 2 Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I see Derby have allowed Owen Beck to return to Liverpool. It looks like he’s had one injury after another there. Quote
