Valconite Posted August 9 Posted August 9 If this is the sort of performance we can expect going forward then I think I’ll just stay in bed instead of setting an alarm and getting up to watch the game. Desperately need some quality attacking signings but we know that it won’t happen 😕 Also, how the hell has Hedges managed to stay on the pitch all game. Quote

BigHoz Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Only positive I’ll take from that is I like Lewis miller. If these are ismaels signings who he wanted as chaddy says then he needs sacking because they fucking shite. Sorry admin. 5 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) Miller okay, McL okay, Alebiousi okay. The two Swedish lads have a lot to prove. Edited August 9 by Paul Mellelieu 1 1 Quote

yankfan Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Could have easily been 0-3. Not many positives to take. If Trav and Trondstad go this team finishes bottom of the table 4 1 Quote

StHelensRover Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Might just be hot-headed coz I'm at the ground but I thought that was simply rubbish. Very little positives to take from that other than that Miller looked alright. He was actually showing Hedges what to do and where to be. West Brom looked bang average under a new manager and were there for the taking today but we offered absolutely nowt. Brum might run through us next week. 7 Quote

yellowsubmarine Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Im glad we lost! This shows how toothless we are up front. Gueye and Ohashi, not even a glimpse of chance they can work together. Gueye's touch and heading is so poor for a center forward. Ohashi cant even hold on the ball. Behind them, no one was creating anything. We can play another 90 with WBA down to 10 men, and we wont score. The result is clear, we need more forwards. 5 4 Quote

neophox Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Remember all signings are bargain basement ones....what do you expect? Would say we have two very good right backs. Henriksson just arrived...will take some time....the others can do better. Quote
WacoRover Posted August 9 Posted August 9 We definitely miss Brittain, Dolan, & probably Weimann & JR-C. 2 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Rovers nil might be a common occurrence this season. 5 Quote

roverblue Posted August 9 Posted August 9 As expected we look pretty solid but have zero attacking threat. Did we even draw a save from their keeper all game? Get used to 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1 as this is going to be story of our season. Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Did Rovers deserve to lose? No Did Rovers deserve to score? Also, No Should WBA goal be disallowed? 50:50 Should Rovers of had a penalty? 100% Two bang average sides. Hedges and De Neve look like back end squad players (being generous), and should be nowhere near the first XI. Sondre was honestly abysmal today, and Gueye looked like the October version of Gueye. The back four seem okay, we miss an (on form) Cantwell and desperately need a RW. Set pieces were hot garbage. Referee - a premiership referee - cost us at least a point there. 0-0 was the least the team deserved. 9 Quote

God I hope we let him go when his contract is up (or sell him before, 10 quid will do). But I can't help but think we won't want to miss the chance of extending a contract for a player who isn't in demand elsewhere, just to show we can extend senior contracts sometimes. He is gash. 2 Quote
