But you seem to think we are victimised from the very first foul it’s very much confirmation bias

Correct.

It's incredibly boring because you just know he's going to say we've been conned out of it by the referee every week.

Not seen today, we might have been slightly hard done to, but it certainly wasn't the case last week. We should have had a penalty but you've got another 90 mins to score a goal.

As someone else said earlier, good teams make their own luck and vice versa with poor teams.

This teams gonna finish bottom of the league. Shit cheap players no one has every heard of. Cheap manager.

Also think there's some discontent in the dressing room hence the mass exodus.

Dark dark times.

My local club morecambe have been run into oblivion by a corrupt owner. Well be next.

It's quite tiresome with exiled. He's a good poster on other subjects but on 'referee bias' it's exhausting.

It’s refereeing decisions, it’s injuries, it’s lack of fitness, it’s children filling the boots of men, it’s players with either skill or balls but not both .

It’s a half empty Blackburn End , it’s a captain wanting to follow decent squad members out of the club, it’s a tired stadium and it’s leadership is just what Venkys want ….

How much further can we sink …we’re done.

We've been living on borrowed time for probably 7 years. Unless something changed, it was inevitable reality caught up with the club.

He sucked before he got injured, now he'll just be worse. Like I've said before: Give him a job driving the bus if he wants to hang around

He was brilliant a couple of injuries ago and another bad injury won't have done him much good.

Writing this walking up livesey branch.

I'm fuckin livid.

I thought we held the game well, and even Hedges did ok. I thought we lacked in midfield at times sloppy passing, but you could see they were trying to make things happen

Horrible end to the game. De Neve should never let him go on the outside for the penalty and very naive corner with no security for the second ball.

Otherwise I thought it was a good performance against a promotion contender. Get Travis out, and this group will at least try to put up a fight.

The worrying thing is neither WBA nor Big Club were very good. I think our first 11 from last season takes at least 4 points from those matches.

My only positive is I actually struggle to dig out the players after that, we just don't have the quality to make subs. We look reasonably organised as the starting 11 but subs knock us so far off balance and seem to have for years.

Seeing a full away end rocking with gobshites was painful enough when it was Man U, seeing Birmingham, Sheff Wed etc doing it really hurts.

2011/12, 2016/17...both seasons felt like there was an inevitability that Rovers would go down and I'm getting the same feeling again with this one.

Credit to the players in that they put in a shift and didn't really deserve to lose...but you make your own luck and Birmingham took their chances. Rovers are far too soft in attack to do that.

Hope Alebiosu is ok, seems like he has started the season well overall.

Ultimately though...it has a feel of a ragtag bunch of players thrown together, and that doesn't bode well at all for the season. I struggle to see where the first win comes from.

De Neve looks horrible. I hope we never ever bring him on again when we're trying to hold onto a lead.

Christ, we literally must be the actual world record holders for goals conceded beyond 90 minutes. How many times over the last 5 seasons?!! It's incredible.

It feels that way but surprisingly not.

Last 5 full seasons  we’ve conceded 17 against a league average of 18.

Think that's being a bit negative after our performance we shone in areas and credit where credits due. Cantwell took his goal well, the only wayvthey were gonna get an advantage on us was to go down in a key area and managed it several times.

The last goal was sloppy defending/goal keeping.

Just frustrating 😑

A bit of balance- Opta missed the early save from Alebiyosu when in truth he had two unmarked Rovers he should have passed to for a tap in so the stats are wrong.

After we scored we had much the better chances for all the Birmingham possession.

I saw the triple late substitution with dread and it cost us.

De Neve should not have been beaten to have allowed the Brum player to get into the area and Miller was rash challenging him when he was in the area. And was it De Neve's rubbish corner which set up the Brum winner?

A real sickener losing a game we had won on 90 minutes.

But why would any ref have any bias against us? We're not a special club. Maybe the other 91 clubs in the efl get hard done by too?

I'm not saying they're biased against us - I'm saying we seem to get a shitload of awful decisions against us.

Why was the Laird dive a penalty, but the trip on Ohashi wasn't? Why are they allowed to throw Ohashi around, but when Gueye gives some back it's a foul?

I just want consistency.

WBA beat Wrexham 2-3 today. They are not a bad side.

we were decent today. Fought well, full of running, but we were very hard done by.

"Not seen today, but I'll post anyway".

Pretty much sums your contributions to this board up.

Think it was Tavares corner. Horrible decision. Sometimes we can play it short and keep the ball.

This is a Rovers thing.

The ref gave a foul against Alebiosu, so that shot didn't actually happen.

Must admit he runs alot but runs past players when trying to stand them up or tackle. Not sure about him either
