We did play well in the first half. However, if you play well for 45 mins every week over 46 games, that's half a season of good performances, but if you don't win those matches, you're in trouble. We're in trouble.

Results driven business - if you don’t score or keep clean sheets you’ll get nothing.

Some committed performances for the first 50-odd minutes, credit to the manager for actually trying to set us up with the opposition in mind, but that’s about as far as credit can go.

Lot of players in the squad are missing the ‘x’ factor required to play at this level or higher and we don’t have the required intangible attribute at the club to compensate for that (ironically enough, it’s stuff like “togetherness” or toughness, that does it). Some sympathy for being thrown together as a group with a lot of turnover, but results don’t often lie.

You can’t have an effective plan B when your plan B players don’t get minutes, which is why Gueye, Kargbo et al struggle to get into the games when they come on. Disappointing for them when so many others have offered nothing and get a starting berth. Quite how Gudjohnsen commanded a fee is beyond me, but you have a feeling his surname is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

To outline where we are - we don’t have much of a budget, we have a divided fanbase, absentee owners, an anti-man-management manager, over-promoted orange juice salesman cosplaying as a CEO/COO dynamo, an intern running the entire football department and a squad of game-albeit-not up to it footballers, with one player visibly more capable than his teammates but with a patchy availability. We’re aiming for 21st position as a best-case, but some of you might be fortunate to compulsively purchase your season tickets next year for the promotional price of £151, to mark spending our 151st year in the third division, so there’s that to look forward to.

Turn up to the 150th anniversary game, it could be a watershed moment.

Gestede needs fucking pelting! Like properly pelting. None of this half arsed fucking shit with the nonsense coalition! He’s a fucking rat! The sale of experience is on him and nobody else he is the head of football operations, it’s on his fucking neck!

Gestede needs to go for the poor recruitment, Ismael needs to go because he's inept and the snake needs to go because of the 15 years of absolute shite he's served up.

If only Venkys could fire themselves. Into a bottomless chasm.

The commentators are saying the game has boiled down to 'three mad minutes' where a couple of misplaced headers on the edge of the box have cost us. Not having that, since taking the lead, Coventry have completely smothered, nullified us, we have offered nothing in reply.

Don't have the depth of squad, ability of player and the right mentality to respond and fight our way back in.

well we`de certainly have been in the play offs a few times, the chicken abusers have  made damn sure we`ve never got in them

They were the chief architects of us getting relegated in the first place.

That halfwit Desai "we don't need expensive players, we can always lease them" bollocks.

BBC saying Miller injured, that the case or just precaution?

He was definitely limping, going off the pitch.

if he`s any ambition then he`ll be phoning his agent and instructing him about finding a new club

Now, that might be why he ain't playing !

Always great having a player flying off to the Asia/Oceania area every international break. Does great things for recovery.

Wow, who would have thunked that losing nearly 1000 games of championship experience would end up with us being resoundingly beaten on weekly basis. Clearly not Rudy for one

Surprise, surprise… And still I believe both Pasha and Rudy actually believe they are both competent and good at what they do.

On a personal note I’ve stopped caring, and the only thing about Rovers that brings me some kind of joy is the fact that their “project” seems to be failing (although I also realise that this may be their definition of success).

You could sit here and say that the goal for Coventry was massively undeserved, the Rovers performance since that point has been woeful.

Yes because they changed the front three with useless tossers.
