neophox Posted Saturday at 19:55 Posted Saturday at 19:55 I'm quite sure both Kargbo and Gueye will be shipped come January. 1 Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted Saturday at 19:59 Posted Saturday at 19:59 Two poor teams in the first half. I can see why Southampton are down there with us. They got lucky with the rebound that ended up as good as a pass. Their guy took the chance well though. If we are going to play 5 at the back with wing backs we can’t have two water carriers in centre midfield. You end up playing seven at the back. When you actually win the ball it’s hard to find a player down field. We are crying out for a player ( Baradji ? ) who can win the ball back there and carry it into the last third. I thought Gudjonnson was the love child of Ashley Ward in that first half. He got hardly any service but you’ve got to do more yourself to make things happen. Once he got the goal he looked a different player. Second half was much better and the last 25 minutes was what I expect from a Rovers team. All of a sudden we were winning tackles, headers, 50/50 balls. Launching ourselves into tackles. When Morshita missed that chance I thought - “ We won’t get a better chance than that “ . That seemed to inspire us though and we really took the game to Southampton after that. I also thought Southampton playing into our hands by dropping back and just playing on the break, thanks to Toth we rode our luck in that respect. I was expecting Armstrong to put both of those chances away but Toth faced him down each time. Play like we did in the last 25 minutes and we’ll give ourselves a chance. We were definitely trying for the whole game, I can’t fault our effort at all, we just lack composure at the moment. One thing is for sure, they are playing for the manager. 5 Quote

I’m convinced that the people having a go at Ismael and singing Venky’s Out helped create an atmosphere today that was sorely lacking in the first half especially. That energy helped the team a lot in the second half. Proving that it doesn’t matter what you sing, just sing! Also, it’s possible to get behind the lads AND want our owners gone. It’s caring about the future of Blackburn Rovers Football Club that is most important. A great feeling winning from behind today and hope that this team CAN get results in this league if the opposition aren’t on it. It’s going to be a long season but the hope is there! 8 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted Saturday at 20:13 Posted Saturday at 20:13 (edited) Kargbo's been a terrible signing. Complete and utter sicknote. Edited Saturday at 20:13 by RevidgeBlue 3 Quote

Where did I say that people were mad for going then? Giving your money to them is subsidising their destruction of the club. I'd go as far as to say that's fact, not just an opinion. You still haven't answered how I can take a picture and post it on here when I wasn't even on the same hemisphere as where the picture was taken. Also, show me where I posted the picture. One more point, why are there no fans in the upper tier? Quote

Rather unpleasant. It was very close to getting violent. Clubs fooked. Quote
JBiz Posted Saturday at 20:35 Posted Saturday at 20:35 Not sure what you’re trying to prove @M_Bwe all know what he’s like! Anyway. I thought we look disorganised again today, huge spaces between and behind us and a chronic lack of final ball! But… the workrate brought us through. I think 9/10 days, Armstrong buries those chances but you’ve got to praise Toth. He’s more than an upgrade compared to pears! a very welcome three points. First home win at home since April? 2 Quote

If that comment isn't urging people not to buy tickets, then I'll let others decide. Top tier isn't open, only open for Dingles and Man United. Quote

It usually goes like this… lose a few games, pressure mounts on the manager, fanbase expect us to get pasted, we come away with at least a draw so that they can shove it right down our ungrateful throats. 2-1 Rovers or 1-1. During the Kean era I went through phases of almost willing a defeat, in the vague hope it could be for the betterment of the team if it meant it pushed him over the precipice. As I’ve seen all this before, and knowing the manager won’t be removed, we have to hope this group can string enough points together to keep our heads above water. If we go in to L1, it could be years before we see Championship football again. Thought so 3 Quote

CaptainBeanfart Posted Saturday at 21:25 Posted Saturday at 21:25 Assuming that the BBC is right; XG has us winning 3-1. It wasn't a smash and grab. Give Ismael some credit. Quote
