Coventry are unbeaten this term and we bested them for 45 minutes eventually losing to two volleys which would beat any club in this division.

Leicester have a midfield and front line I doubt we can keep out for 90+minutes but their midfield and defence give gifts if pressured. Go for a draw, we will lose, go there with a win as the objective and play like we did at Coventry in the first half, we might come away with a point or three.

We had literally 1 shot on target against Coventry in the first half, granted we SHOULD have had more, but we didn't. The end result was 0 goals.

If you're using that as the metric for justifying 'beating teams comfortably' so be it, but it's a bloody ridiculous claim 🤣

How many points did we get for playing fairly well in one half of a game?

And we lost 2 nil, how can that strengthen the idea that we go to Leicester and win comfortably.

For once we didn't switch off after 45 minutes against Southampton, the result, 3pts. Let's hope we give it 90 minutes against Leicester.

Well I guess I would say Rovers played similarly well against Coventry and Southampton. The difference was Coventry took their chances, while Southampton did not. if Armstrong had managed to finish one of his second half chances it would have been a different story.

So as big a factor as our performance levels maintaining is Leicester not having their shooting boots on as we will give quite a few decent chances away no matter how well we play.

I think we are dependant very heavily on Toth - If he has a good game we scrape a win or a point at best. If he isn't at the races it's a loss. He keeps us in games so so much Southampton game last week only proves it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a ticket for the away end at the ground? I know you can order one from the ticket office to be collected, but I'm traveling down on the train from Scotland with a rail pass, and engineering works combined with a couple of tight connections mean it's a bit of a lottery whether I arrive in Leicester anywhere near kick-off time. Obviously I don't want to fork out for a ticket, then rock up near the end of the second half.

I don't think you'll struggle to get a ticket, whether they'll be anyone at the ticket office when you get there is a gamble. I'd just ring ahead to the Crisp Bowl

We didn't "best" them, if that means what I think it means. We competed well and looked dangerous, and mustered a couple of OK chances in the first half

We lost to a volley Toth should certainly have stopped. The second goal is a great hit, but Miller got done for the cross.

And then we meekly played the rest of the game out without threatening at all.

I'm not sure why this game is being held up as some bastion of hope.

Precisely why you should always get the best keeper you can afford.

Thanks for the replies regarding buying a ticket on the day. I've phoned Leicester and Rovers and both are adamant that there is nothing they can do. I will probably just turn up anyway, so if anyone has a spare please let me know, though it would be on the basis that all being well I'll be in Leicester 80 minutes before kick-off, but the slightest hitch in my travel plans would mean that I'd be unlikely to make it at all.

Plenty of Rovers seats available - we nabbed some today. Pay on the gate seems almost a thing of the past now, which is a shame, because it prevents you making late decisions to attend. It's almost as if they're trying to keep fans away

Decided not to go and I’m only 30 mins away. After 50 odd tears supporting Rovers, I’m finding better things to do on match days. Never thought that would happen. But here I am.

Cantwell out until after the international break. A "kick on the knee" doesn't take 6 weeks to fix. Suspect the medical side are not on top of this. Prepare for worse news in 3 week's time.

It is just like the onerous bag restrictions too. You better hope your hotel for (e.g.) Southampton away allows you to drop your rucksack off as heaven forbid you take something larger than a fag packet into the ground.

Reminds me of a time a couple of years ago I was checking into a Travelodge and someone in front of me wanted to book a room for that night for whatever reason. They were advised they couldn't do that on the desk and they would have to ring them or book online to do so. Understandly, they weren't too impressed!

either that or pasha has decided to sell him in january and him  getting injured will scupper the deal,i thoroughly an accouncement that he`s out until december,he`ll then play the whole month till match fit and be sold in the transfer window

Cantwell and Carter out until after the international break and Baradji's time frame has been pushed back to a "couple of weeks" after that.

He's never going to play, is he?

I wouldn't trust our medical team to put on a plaster.
