There's a lot of noise around Cantwell. I can't help but think people have been asked to put out these details in the hope something 'better' turns up for him. Recent history states players we've managed to bring through the door were kept quiet until pretty much done.

If it has to be a loan for financial reasons that apparently don't exist, then Travers is as good as it gets and would be a good signing in my opinion. It would be great if there's an option to buy at a fixed price next summer.

A goalkeeper has to be top priority at the moment. However if there was a genuine opportunity to get Poku, it should be taken. We need more, quicker options from out wide and he fits the bill, plus seems to have an end product. He's young and if this lot really are trying to stay afloat by developing potential and selling for a profit, he would seemingly fit the criteria.
