  1. Back to back wins at home against mediocre sides and we're shouting from the rooftops as If its some great achievement. Its been a spineless and pathetic season tbh and we are far from out of trouble yet!
  2. Keep your chin up Ben,Huddersfield are a decent, honest northern club like our good selves..good luck with the fight. Well done Rovers, sounded a good performance!
  3. Remember that we once had players like Tugay grace our shirt, keep those memories close as the club falls and falls....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=v9ihAT29tYM
  4. I urge anyone interested in this current Armstrong saga to read the book 'From Lance to Landis'...an eye opener indeed. You just have the feeling that dreams of 'supermen' coming back from the dead are going to be shattered very, very soon. Oh dear..... http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/aug/24/lance-armstrong-stripped-tour-de-france
  5. season 3 about to start soon of Empire... http://www.hbo.com/boardwalk-empire/index.html
  6. Loved Boardwalk Empire (cant wait for new season) and all the Spartacus series
  7. Didn't someone mention that we were supposed to be playing North End in their 'Guild cup' celebration?....PNE/Rovers/Hearts/AEK. I just wonder if Preston plod put the skids under one that one too...Tafkap your opinion would be welcome for a change!
  8. Not 'traitors' just honest folk who chose to follow THE finest town club in the land!
  9. Sad news indeed..RIP Chris Thompson
  10. Piece of Rovers history
  11. Lived in a house worth 300k and couldn't/wouldn't pay back money borrowed in good faith?...I think I'd be rather p!ssed off too.
  12. A very sorry story if true...even implicates his daughter to some extent.I'm sure those messages would not have been displayed on that web site if they weren't for real. Just goes to show you can never know someone well enough.
  13. Very true, you would see Fred sat next to Jack regularly on matchday's...R.I.P.
  14. Nail-hit-head....I do not trust Kean one little bit.
  15. Watch out! watch out!! there's a Keano about!
  16. Fantastic memories of a really great time to be following Rovers...what I would give to re live those seasons once more BOOMTOWN BLACKBURN.
  17. Shift 2 unleashed very promising.Dirt 3 looks good...back to its rally origins.
  18. Shearer let his heart rule his head going to Newcastle and for a player of his ability to only have one major honour to his name is a tradgedy for sure. The thought of him at Man Utd would have been frightening...they simply would have been unstoppable! For an English footballer to play for either Madrid or Milan must surely be a chance not to be missed.
  19. To anyone involved in the fans forum with the club, has a Ronnie Clayton memorial been mooted or possibly renaming one of the stands in his honour? God knows the great man deserves it but sadly seems to have gone quiet on this one.
  20. Superb stuff once more Mr Whittle,to see that Swindon game once more brings back great memories of that era,3 sides of old Ewood packed,Ossie and Archie in the blue 'n' white, Rovers on the start of a great journey back to the top!
  21. Lets put it this way Sam,for a player who only played in the blue 'n' white for one season the impact he had was simply unforgettable. Just like a Jack Russell he was a real tough little b'stard who never gave in. Nearly 20 years on and his name still evokes great memories..... ''PLEASE UNCLE JACK, BRING DAVID SPEEDIE BACK''
