  1. Could Szmodic be moved out to cover Sigurdsson and bring Wharton into the midfield?
  2. I think more and more in the modern game, players are terrified of trying something with there weaker foot, like a through ball or a knock down the line in fear of giving possession away. It's like its drilled into them now just to recycle the ball at every opportunity and play safe with there stronger foot than try something ambitious and give it away with your weaker.
  3. You get the choice there to have the whole Shed End for cup games, like Wimbledon and Brighton did in the last two rounds. Chelsea put an article up on there website that I linked earlier in the thread stating that we had decided not to take the whole end.
  4. JDT has already said Leonard won't be involved. I imagine we will start as we did against QPR.
  5. I think that's what the club want you to believe, but it's actually not true... Saturday 23rd February 2013 - 3pm - Rovers 0 Leeds 0 Saturday 30th November 2013 - 3pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 0 Saturday 22nd November 2014 - 3pm - Rovers 2 Leeds 1 Saturday 20th March 2016 - 1230pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 2 Wednesday 1st February 2017 - 1945pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 2 Saturday 20th October 2018 - 12pm - Rovers 2 Leeds 1 Friday 3rd April 2020 - 8pm - Rovers/Leeds was scheduled for Sky but obviously postponed due to covid. So twice in the last 7 meetings it's moved, it's complete nonsense.
  6. Couldn't get any more as Chelsea had already started selling them in the Shed End next to the Rovers fans. We stated to Chelsea at the beginning that we didn't want any more than 3k.
  7. I'm also guessing that we haven't reached a reciprocal agreement with Leeds about ticket prices so we'll be paying £47 when we go there in April.
  8. Leeds game bought forward on "police advice" https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/october/19/lunchtime-kick-off-for-leeds-match/ Why is this starting to happen again? Had plenty of home 3pm games against Leeds since we came down in 2012.
  9. Not sure he's going to have much to work with unfortunately.
  10. Really dislike this lazy narrative. At Ewood the fans were brilliant with him, the odd sigh or moan when he misplaced a pass for the umpteenth time like they would with anyone but on the whole he couldn't have asked for a more supportive home crowd.
  11. I would play... Leo Hill, Carter, Hyam, Brittain JRC, Tronstad, Wharton Szmodics Sigurdsson Ennis
  12. Came off against Coventry with a groin injury didn't he?
  13. I think it's worth throwing Semir up top even if he's rubbish. At least its a presence up there that would allow Szmodics, Moran, Siggurson etc to buzz around him, we can't go into another game without anyone wanting to be up front. QPR 2 Rovers 1. QPR to score in the 4th and 44th minute, us to pull one back on 70, with a lot of huff and puff but nothing else doing. At least we won't be in the bottom 3 for the international break as Watford won't get anything at Cardiff.
  14. According to the Chelsea website it looks like tickets will be £26 for adults for this. We have also decided to NOT take the full Shed End allocation. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/tickets/mens-tickets
  15. If he hasn't changed something in the middle when playing the best team in the league, I can't see him doing it any time soon unfortunatly.
  16. If they didn't sack Mowbray after his ridiculous winless runs they won't sack JDT, far too much effort.
  17. I don't doubt any of that. I do doubt that Rangers will be looking at JDT though, he won't even be on there radar is my guess.
  18. Nope. They have all beaten us pretty comfortably. Give me an Arsene Wenger reaction to us in 2005 over whatever this nonsense is.
  19. So did Hulls, Plymouths, Sunderland and Ipswich's. What's the common theme there?!
