  1. @Paul Mani i noticed you said earlier that you expect Buckley to be a regular starter by Christmas. If so, where does he play? I personally dont think he'll be a regular starter for a good while yet, if ever.
  2. I can certainly see your reasoning with most of this post, and would be inclined to agree, but the bit in bold, is never, ever going to happen, and for me is the most frustrating thing about the Mowbray regime so far.
  3. If he's getting a taxi anyway, I think I'd rather get a taxi to Livesey and drink in a few real pubs than drink in the Postal Order, but each to there own I guess.
  4. I think it's a category B game, so tickets will set you back somewhere between £22/£29 depending where you want to sit. Think there are two trains an hour to Blackburn from Manchester, one is slightly long winded though that goes through Accrington etc. Pubs, a few down Livesey branch road, Lord Raglan, White Bull, Brown Cow, Moorgate, Fox and Hounds should see you right for a few pre match pints, Only about a 10/15 minute walk from the Lord Raglan past all the other pubs to Ewood.
  5. Also £20 at WBA, yet we will be charging them £28 when they come here. You can see people lapping it up over on social media about this myth with the Sheff Wed prices, "well its what they charge us so fair play". No it isn't.
  6. Also category A are Wigan on a Monday night on Sky, and Stoke on a Wednesday night in February. Crazy, crazy pricing.
  7. Or you could argue that if he had bought on Evans 10 minutes earlier, then we would have probably conceded two.
  8. Absolutely not, and the only reason you suggest it is because he played here. I can't imagine you would take a punt on any other of the managers in the top 10 of the national league.
  9. Agree with the rest, but that bit in bold, them 4 I don't I don't think will ever be regular starters here with the likes of Bennett, Evans and Armstrong here. They should all be banging down the door to get out of here in January to play some real football, won't be long until they start to ho backwards in the u23s.
  10. Is today the day we finally get that injury time winner under Mowbray?
  11. Just over 11k home fans on today, obviously a few will have bought the 3 game bundle, and a few will have got there tickets discounted through the 1875 club. Would love to know how many actually bought a full price ticket for today though.
  12. Be interesting how PNE carry on if it happens. Looks a crazy move on paper but money talks, and is all 99% of people in football are bothered about.
  13. No, we'll carry on appointing no hopers until the end of time. Bobbing along at the bottom end of this league or the one below.
  14. Exactly who I thought when reading it too.
  15. I reckon Nyambe will be made the scapegoat for what happened at deepdale and Bennett will be back in at right back, Evans & Travis in midfield. Who knows with the rest of the side. A 1-1 draw to keep the fans at bay until the Barnsley game.
  16. I feel like I have read that before, months ago! It's a nothing story.
  17. It's a strange one anyway, £40 or not Sheff Wed haven't bought more than 3k here for years.
  18. The Darwen End upper idea should definitely be implemented, why isn't it? We don't open up the like for like seats anyway. As for the local promotion, I don't think that is even a thing anymore? I definitely remember us doing it once (although not to the extreme that other clubs have done), about 5/6 years ago against Leeds, we charged them £34 in the Darwen end whilst Bburn end prices were £25. I think it was the game where Tommy Spurr scored the winner.
  19. "All because they charged us that last season" They charged us £33 last season, why does that justify us charging them an extra £7?
  20. He left Coventry after going 10 games without a win, in his own words it was "embarrassing". 4 more to go until we get there, I suspect we'll win one of them just to keep him ticking over.
  21. I disagree, give them something to think about. We can't keep things tight anyway who ever plays so we might aswell give it a go. I would love to see Chapman and Rothwell on opposing flanks at some point but it'll never happen.
  22. None of them buggers are captain material. If they were it wouldn't matter who the "official" captain was they would be rallying the troops etc, instead of the spineless shrugging of the shoulders we see time and time again when we go behind, especially away from home.
  23. Gareth Ainsworth I fear would be our "Nathan Jones". None of the millionaires in our dressing room are listening to him.
  24. I just want us to show up with players playing where they are comfortable, play with a bit of urgency, and not to just give up when we inevitably to a goal behind. Even under Coyle, we managed to come from behind to win at this level (twice aswell!), something we haven't managed since Mowbray came in. Saying that, I expect the same dreary players in the same unfamiliar positions, and probably a 3-0 defeat.
  25. Lose 3-0 on Saturday, Bennett, Dack, Nyambe and whoever else will come out with "not the result we wanted today, hard one to take, but we'll take the positives and learn from it, support was amazing" on Twitter or something. Then we'll carry on limping through, draw at home to Sheff Wed, lose away at Leeds, then Mowbray will come out with some guff about "regrouping during the international break". All so predictable here at the minute.
