  1. Pete O'Rourke on Twitter mentioned the same earlier today, completely ignored it though as like you say there will probably be a hundred lads in for trials etc over the summer.
  2. Haha yeah, bit longer than 12 months though, he scored in April 1994 against Southampton, and his next goal was in December 1997 against West Ham. Was a great moment.
  3. As has been said, I don't think there was really any intention to get the ST info out "mid/late April", I imagine it was just a generic answer out of thin air to the FF on that particular night.
  4. With Lenihan out it seems to be the perfect excuse to put Mulgrew back in, then next week and to start next season, it will be back to Lenihan & Mulgrew.
  5. Not sure about anyone else, but I'd class this as late April now. Not even a whisper of any info.
  6. He'll no doubt he lorded up as "like a new signing" too.
  7. We all know Mowbray is ridiculously loyal to his players, for that reason alone I think Samuel will be given plenty of game time next season.
  8. Said many times and will continue to say it, at least 4, maybe even 5 of Raya, Mulgrew, Williams, Bennett, Evans & Smallwood will start the first game of next season. There will no way be a complete overhaul.
  9. Have to laugh at the thought of people saying "Armstrong in for Conway", surely by now we have learned that there is no way Mowbray will ever start Armstrong, Dack, Rothwell & Graham in the same side. Tomorrow, he'll keep Bennett at right back, bring Smallwood/Evans in for Conway, and Move Reed out to right midfield. We'll lose 3-0 and be 2 down inside half an hour.
  10. Them interviews in the LET are becoming unbearable to read, it's just constant waffle.
  11. I could see Fielding and Bauer being options as they are both free. Absolutely need a cm to replace Reed, no way will Davenport be good enough yet. Striker is a must, as is a full back to challenge Nyambe. As has been said, anyone hoping for Mulgrew, Evans, Smallwood & Bennett not to play much of a part next season is going to be very disapointed, i'd put my mortgage on at least 3 of them lining up on the opening day of next season.
  12. At least one of them will be back in in Saturday, no way will Tony play an unchanged side.
  13. Don't get me wrong ive enjoyed tonight, but i'll bet anyone here anything that Smallwood & Evans will be back in the side on Saturday and we'll be 2-0 down after 30 mins. Everything is so predictable relating to Rovers at the minute.
  14. Can someone at the fans forum please pull Waggott up at the next meeting on his rediculous claims that most clubs would need the whole Darwen End this season? It's sold out twice i think? With maybe one or two more bringing over 3k.
  15. Said all along we would win tonight. Saturday will see Evans & Smallwood back in and we'll lose our last 5.
  16. Chapman not even on bench for under 23s tonight, either injured or maybe on our bench tomorrow?!
  17. We'll win this as nobody is expecting it, then lose our next 5.
  18. If we're drawing or a goal down when the board goes up at the end of 90 minutes you might aswell go home, coming upto 26 months since we last scored a injury time winner/equaliser in the league.
  19. We'll win this 2-1, then lose our next 5.
  20. That'll never, ever happen.
  21. Anyone in the last 40 years? Yeah thats what i meant. Shearer, Duff, Bentley, Santa Cruz, Samba, Jones, Rhodes all sold for mega money, the year after in every case we really struggled. It's pure fantasy to suggest we'll sell Dack and buy 5 players to become a better team, not a chance it will work that way.
  22. This is exactly what would happen, when has selling our best player to invest the funds into the team ever made us stronger?
  23. This will be the most routine 2-0 win that Stoke will ever have.
  24. Make of this what you will. I've just been told that the club had planned an "early bird" deal that would have seen season tickets on sale by easter weekend, but because Zebra Finance have just gone bust they have had to abandon them plans and delay it.
  25. I'm not even worrying about that scenario because I know it will happen.
