  1. Yeah, played one game away at West Ham in the 94-95 season. Looked very average.
  2. Means the Premier league would have 23 teams next season. That's just odd. All the other leagues would tally up with promoted teams replacing promoted teams.
  3. I'm sure many people have, about various goalkeepers who didn't make the cut. I think the key is not to take these sort of shows too seriously.
  4. I watched the captain one and Shearer got slapped down for having the nerve to suggest Tim Sherwood over Wes Morgan.
  5. We played in the Charity Shield in 1928 too after our last FA Cup win...
  6. Funnily enough I've just read an article on South Shields taking legal action, they are 12 points clear and have apparently invested a lot this season to achieve that goal. Could all get a bit messy this.
  7. No way will that happen any higher up. Read the other day that the national league were on about ending there season now but with all results standing, so Barrow would get promoted.
  8. It was personal preference, as they have set it up so every player in the game is "85" rated, so it doesn't put clubs like Accy or Orient at a disadvantage.
  9. Brotherston was Northern Irish, unless your going for a combined team there? Remember really routing for Ireland at USA 94 with no home nations present, that Ray Houghton goal against Italy.
  10. If it's just Premier League I'll go for... Friedel (USA) Berg (Norway) Hendry (Scotland) Samba (Congo) Givet (France) Gillespie (NI) Tugay (Turkey) Savage (Wales) Duff (Ireland) Shearer (England) Santa Cruz (Paraguay) Subs - Enckleman (Finland) Ooijer (Netherlands) Neill (Australia) Olsson (Sweden) Mokoena (South Africa) Hollett (Canada) Yakubu (Nigeria)
  11. I got caught up in the excitement of that last night too I have to admit. Was quite nervous in that closing stretch! Although it's probably because it was Stoke ?
  12. I think obviously the 94-95 will make up the core of the side, I have tried to add a few players in that I think would have been upgrades to what we had at the time. Friedel Berg Hendry Nelson Le Saux Ripley Tugay Sherwood Duff Shearer Santa Cruz
  13. April 30th. This will be put back again I'm sure.
  14. I have worked at a couple of places with running looms. My last place of work had them running until about 2012 before shutting the UK factory down and importing from China/India. There is one other company in my town that still has a fully operating weaving shed still going strong today.
  15. I actually like the sound of this, it'll never happen though.
  16. That's the goal that took about four reflections before going in. Good times.
  17. 2002-03 Short scored an injury time equaliser. 2003-04 Yorke scored an injury time equaliser. We went about 10/11 years unbeaten at the Reebok in that era.
  18. The only thing I want to do after reading this thread is to see what the Chief scientific advisor has to say.
  19. I have always said carry on with your day to day lives as normal until you are told not to, but even I'm in two minds about making the trip up on Saturday. I hate the thought of catching it and passing it on to someone elderly or vulnerable without even knowing it. Part of me was hoping they would suspend the season for a bit whilst trying to get it under control.
  20. It's not Brian's son, I know "the beast" quite well he lives on the other side of the town I live in. His son's are both on the books of Everton, one under 13 and one under 16.
  21. Brereton has shown the odd glimpse, Hull and Swansea sub appearances at home spring to mind. I'm not convinced there is much there though as every time prior to those sub appearances, and the games that he has started he has looked like he has never played the game before, however I also think he has been very poorly managed by Mowbray. Whether he would go on and do ok elsewhere, I don't know.
