  1. That won't be the case if Venkys sod off matt, we'll rise as a town, a club and a fanbase, I'm certain of that.
  2. Coventry back from the dead, had to play games at St Andrews for a season, tomorrow backed by 4000 fans at Ewood, tremendous following, a club galvanised by adversity. Don't let anyone tell you we need these charlatans from Pune, actually we need them to sod off before we can move forward, its as simple as that. Rovers 2 Coventry 1 Venkys out
  3. Big mistake not taking Mahmood and Parkinson, also Livingston for that matter. 5-0 whitewash unless the rain comes, then at least we might draw one.....
  4. We recorded Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park from 1981 - Just watched the full concert, absolute genius, takes your stresses away, just brilliant.
  5. Just caught up with the fight, I’m sat here stunned to be honest. I’ve been watching boxing since 70’s that is without doubt in the top 5 fights I’ve ever seen, superb stuff. Credit to Wilder, he looked shot after 3 rounds and managed to survive, but the better man won, it should never have gone to a 3rd fight, but I’m glad it did. Fury has won me over, I don’t mind admitting it, so much so If he fights over in Vegas again I think I'll be on the plane. Clearly some of his comments and antics in his early career were born out of mental health issues, hopefully he’s over that now and hes bringing those belts back to Lancashire.
  6. How about 10th in the Premiership to League 1 in 5 easy steps under these owners. I’ll assume that is actually the worst run in your lifetime CNC?
  7. To be fair he stood aside at Coventry I believe matt, not many modern day managers do that, they usually wait for the pay off.
  8. We all do the best for our bank balance Matt, don’t we?
  9. The worst run in our history? Don’t talk daft….
  10. Why do you believe Mowbray to be a liar with no morals? I believe him to be past his sell by date, working for mad owners, but I think he’s a decent guy.
  11. It’s probably to do with the new price reductions to get fans back into the ground. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/october/06/new-ticketing-initiatives-introduced-/ Sheff Utd game - £14.60 all seats for our 146th year - Who the hell thought of that bollox? Who celebrates 146yrs? Make it £10 a seat and stop the amateurish nonsense.
  12. Good news on The Ashes - sounds like if will be played, Root leading by example saying he’ll tour whatever it takes.
  13. Didn't someone get the sign on US wrestling live across the globe 😂
  14. From the darts live on sky
  15. You’ve been reading the local press and this site throughout the summer, the recruitment has been a disaster, targets going anywhere but Ewood, we ended up with players our fellow championship competitors didn’t want. All this culminating in one of the smallest squads in terms of senior pros I can ever remember and 3-4 of those could walk out shortly.
  16. Not a snowball chance in hell. Lambert had a plan, originally backed by the owners, to revamp the club from top to bottom, within a month of taking the job the owners stopped communicating with him after he wanted to put players on longer contracts and the rest is history. Something has changed this season though, we now can’t compete in the free transfer market, but contracts remain unsigned, no structure at the club, no football people at the club, it’s the same old crap and anyone with any business acumen knows you can’t run a successful business like this.
  17. Only getting rid of the owners will achieve that goal 1864.
  18. Don’t worry though Matty, we’re getting the commercial side right….. I can’t believe what I’m reading, seasoned posters coming out with this tripe.
  19. You’re making excuses again 1864, it’s inexcusable to allow our first team squad to run down contracts and not renew. Rothwell needs an improved contract, get it offered and signed, it’s simple. Armstrong is a different matter, the rest is incompetence, billionaire owners don’t forget? How about Nyambe and Lenihan? Brereton?
  20. The new strategy seems to be letting players walk out on free transfers? Rothwell potentially off to Rangers in the press today. Its amateurish, Waggot blaming Covid, I’m blaming billionaire owners, it’s embarrassing.
  21. @1864roverite If you’re looking for evidence, how about the way they’ve destroyed this once great football club, destroyed businesses, families and the town? Do you need more evidence than that 1864?
  22. Let’s just say, for arguments sake, that all this came true, that would make us a mid table functioning championship side with a massive debt in the background, as apposed to a dysfunctional mid to lower level championship side with a massive debt in the background, hardly groundbreaking when you put it into perspective. Nothing improves here until the owners sod off, you’re still backing the wrong horse.
  23. I’ll tell you what is criminal, the way they’ve destroyed this football club, businesses, families and the town. That’s not innuendo and I’ve plenty of evidence to back it up.
  24. Venkys ended up in the High Court over the Henning Berg saga, dodgy and found guilty. How many times have Blackburn Rovers found themselves in the high court over the years Rev? Or doesn’t that count?
  25. Unless they’re hiding something…
