  1. Past hour
  2. The ‘Legends’ game feels like a disaster waiting to happen. As part of a more detailed Anniversary celebration season (and with more confidence in the club) I’d perhaps be a little excited. This will be Rovers’ “Fyre Festival”
  3. Can’t imagine they’ll get close to filling it at half 12 on Sky, they aren’t doing great themselves.
  4. Just announced it will be £18.75 a ticket, so I can imagine they'll offer Derby the whole Darwen End?
  5. According to Ismael, in 10 days, we'll have a clear time frame on Baradji's return.
  6. Worth bearing in mind the river level will continue to rise for some time after it stops raining due to cumulative water run off. At 3pm just under 0.7m. Normal range peaks out at 1.25m. Above that can become problematic. Just depends how high the outflow from the ground is.
  7. even the happiest of happy clappers won`t stay around on a potentially cold november afternoon, especially if we get beat,it`s a daft idea.orchestrated by someone with zero understanding of football (thats everyone behind the scenes at ewood) the club should advertise the fact it is actually our 150 year anniverary and as a one off, slash admission to £5 for everyone, cut derbys allocation to a quarter of the darwen end and actively try to fill the ground with home fans,a simple idea is`nt it
  8. Well I’m at Prague airport about to fly over for the game and getting less confident it goes ahead as time goes on. Also a possibility my flight lands somewhere other than the North west if the weather is as bad as easyJet are telling me. I’d usually be annoyed but the way the club is behaving with the LT If the games off will just spend the day in the pub. Whatever. Don’t care anymore
  9. The yellow weather warning for today is both wind & rain but tomorrow its just for wind.
  10. "[this afternoons] clash comes too soon for the likes of Hayden Carter or Jake Garrett, who remain weeks away from returning to match action, whilst Moussa Baradji is a longer-term absentee." So not expected back in the next few weeks. More a longer term absentee. Nice one Rudy.
  11. FA Cup starts for the team this weekend against Stocksbridge Park Steels (Jamie Vardy's first ever club). They are probably a very similar level to us, I imagine 5-1 to Stocksbridge.
  12. It started raining against Ipswich at Midday, but it wasn't heavy. It seemed to turn heavy some time around 4pm. I'd say the weather at the moment is far worse than it was before kick off against Ipswich.
  13. Today
  14. if this weather continues there is no way the game is going ahead,it only started raining against ipswich at midday and look what happened,it`s monsoon like near chorley, assume it`s the same 7 miles up the road in blackburn,at least we won`t get beat, only by the weather🙂
  15. Bordering on very close - As i'm reading it, there will be constant rainfall til about 1am and will pick back up HEAVY from 7 til past 1 in the afternoon. However the weather can be unpredictable at the best of times.
  16. Holding out the tiniest bit of hope that when the time comes the book gets thrown at a fair few including that pillock, but I reckon that ship has firmly sailed.
  17. He has no affinity to Rovers and should have zero interest, certainly not enough to constantly chirp up in defence of the owners and put himself in the firing line. The only motivation is to stay on that train and i think what they call it these days is gaslighting. Never responds to the comments on his agency etc.
  18. This quote is from the day of the Portsmouth postponement. “Today’s pitches are designed to accommodate vast amounts of rainfall, but unfortunately ours cannot cope with the rainfall that fell on Saturday, which was in the region of 35ml. do we know the expected rainfall volumes for tonight ?
  19. He even liked my tweet pointing out that he’s rode the gravy train very nicely. More front than Brighton.
  20. Got bloody Covid so I'm not coming up after all.
  21. Good job it’s not today; up the road and it’s far worse than it was the day of the Ipswich game
  22. The fact he jumped on that so quickly to try and spin the narrative shows some of the same snouts are still in the trough. Protecting their own interests.
  23. He is on record, in what is believed to be the true version of the Fans Forum minutes as follows in the extract I have cut and pasted as below. GM – Stated Jones had been part of an instrumental time at the club with key players coming through the academy, notably Adam Wharton who was sold for what appears to be below market value to pay bills, with no reinvestment into the squad with those funds. SS- Stated that no one knew Wharton would be a good player at youth level whilst AO Stated no one pays more for a championship player, GM – Gave the recent £40m plus addons sale of Jobe Bellingham as a rebuttal, whilst refuting SS Claim on Wharton who had been the worse kept secret in years as a player very much expected to progress to the first team since during the emergence of his brother. AO Acknowledged, other championship players have gone for much more money than the previous suggestion of Wharton’s value being market value.
  24. Venky's release funds to allow Suhail to send Rudy to Aldi for 2 mops.
  25. It's a shame they can't offer this to us when it doesn't feel like they have a gun against their head. The results would be better if they didn't always feel so damn reluctant and done in crisis mode.... Poor planning as usual and now trying to claw back what they can. Almost feels a "Told you so" is needed but I think I'll save that for when Rudy's new squad is bottom at Christmas.
  26. Your use of 'very, very' is woefully inadequate. Add a further 98 times and you will be closer to the mark! Love it!!! So Carter seems to be out for weeks again - the lad is rapidly approaching Grella and Gallagher territory. The sale of Hyam with no replacement seems more calamitous by the day. As for Baradji, words almost fail me - IMO, a total feckin nonsense of a loan signing. If only I could find a bookie to make a bet that the match wont even start let alone finish!!!!! Would love to know what, if any, addition preparations and precautions Rovers have made to ensure the match both starts and finishes. I think the answer will most likely be the square root of sweet feck all.
