  1. Past hour
  2. There is inflation to think about. But I get your point.
  3. Lancs robbed of any chance by crazy scheduling and a terrible decision by Sue Redfearn to give Livingstone out
  4. Honestly that's not a bad bench, Montgomery aside. Carter and Wharton hasn't been a good starting CB pair in the past though, hopefully they are both a bit more experienced and wiser now.
  5. Lancs lose by 23 runs, including an absolutely diabolical umpiring decision to give Livingstone out. If only we had the 6 starters that are missing. I genuinely hope it rains for the next two days and the competition is a wash out. It's what the ECB deserves.
  6. Pears spotted, someone check out his haircut
  7. Morishita, Wharton & Carter start Gudjohnsen, Gardner-Hickman & Pears on the bench
  8. We'll have to sell the whole team to pay that.
  9. I will be pleasantly surprised if we avoid conceding first 20 minutes πŸ˜‰
  10. Oxford leading against 10 man Leicester is far from ideal
  11. Today
  12. β€œWhat's that smell in this room? Didn't you notice it, Brick? Didn't you notice a powerful and obnoxious odor of mendacity in this room? There ain't nothin' more powerful than the odor of mendacity. You can smell it. It smells like death. Tennessee Williams
  13. I think we have been badly let down by local radio and press..
  14. Cliff Richard - Wired For Sound
  15. I will be pleasantly surprised if we avoid defeat !
  16. Why would we need to chuck in a goal-scorer, into our prolific team ?
  17. Iv'e often wondered how many advisers and consultants are on the payroll.
  18. Ohashi has never played on the wing before. Ismael suggested that with Gudjohnsen adjusting to the league and having only trained once, that he is unlikely to need to be chucked in like Henriksson was.
  19. The wage bill stated in the accounts staying roughly the same over the past 5 years (Β£25.5M give or take Β£200K apart from the 21/22 season when it was Β£24.3M), despite obvious cuts to the playing staff would indicate that something is not as it seems
  20. Surely they couldn't be diverting wages from the football squad into the non playing staff whilst keeping the overall costs the same ? Could they .......
  21. It just smells of some of the stuff we've seen in the past. Bring him in - get commission Get him fit then a large pay per game fee - Commission In the shop window hopefully plays well and earns a contract, not necessarily here - Commission. Proper 'vehicle' stuff.
  22. I keep my mum's photo in my phone wallet
  23. Axel broken hand so not travelled. I had forgotten about him. Would be a bit off for Gudjonsson to star against France and go on the bench today. Andre up top and the Japanese lads on the flanks?
  24. I fully expect the next set of accounts to show that the overall wages paid are inexplicably the same as the last god knows how many years, which would then point squarely in the direction of certain non playing members of staff
  25. And that is exactly the situation we face. The interview tells all we need to know...individuals on Easy St,no pressure to achieve with no targets or expectations set from those in control of the Club. The good ship BRFC, with no Captain at the Helm, just bobbing along in the middle of nowhere. Its shyte.
  26. Agreed. I can't help wondering if there is a deliberate functionality in the actual churn produced. Who gains etc?
