For what it's worth, I am reasonably convinced the ultimate source of the money that paid the Walker Trust was in the UK but that Mrs D rumbled the family had been sold a pup sometime around 2012 since when Rovers have been an unwanted naan on the Pune breakfast table. Occasionally nibbled at but otherwise left to gather flies. Now the tantric one and son seem sufficiently clear of their Italian experience I suspect Tommy Jimmy is correct. Even a decade on from the Kean era there are too many old problems for a genuine third party to be allowed freedom of full due diligence. The consequences of Neville Mansions and Akron birthday bash played out in the Delhi High Court last week illustrates the problem. -
Letโs see if it pays off for โem, Cotton.

Sticking with my estimated 10 I am confident are good enough to keep us in this league. Hopefully, some newbies develop and that 10 figure grows. Thankfully Gueye is not in the 10 but I didn't think we'd be mad enough to offload him with our window closed and Turkey still open.. Here's to us raiding the free agents bin and Umtiti starting at Watford... Going back to sleep. Best way of getting better... -

Might not have had an operation despite wearing a protective boot, but think we'll find out sooner rather than later. Hope he lights this league up once fit, but probably won't be match fit until mid to late november. - Today

@Herbie6590 - Can you give us any advice on the size of shirt above? Well not hold you to it, but without flying USA over weโre guessing.

Even for us. What an absolutely ridiculous signing. -
pretty poor when you're struggling to put a defence together at the very beginning of the season.... and injuries will come. We will be down there come Christmas.

Asked chat gpt: 0โ6 weeks: Usually non-weight-bearing with a cast or walking boot, often using crutches. 6โ12 weeks: Gradual increase in weight-bearing if X-rays show healing. 3โ6 months: Most people can begin careful rehabilitation with more weight-bearing activities such as faster walking, elliptical, and light strength training for the foot/calf. 6โ12 months: Many can return to running and higher-impact sports, but this must be gradual and always after medical/fysiotherapy clearance. Healing time for minor stress fractures is often 6โ8 weeks before gradual return to low-impact exercise, but full return to running/jumping may still take 3โ4 months. Factors like location of the fracture matter a lot. For example: Metatarsal shaft stress fractures usually heal faster. He might be out for a while -

Video in X of Baradji's foot in a boot, I presume he's had his operation but god knows how long he'll miss. -
I think the older generation of Venkys are probably beyond kindling any interest in the club or even in being bothered to sell it (makes no sense I know) and the antipathy towards them from the fanbase is unlikely to ever change. I've often wondered if there are any of their adult children who could be persuaded to take more interest in the Club and maybe try to re-engage with fans and champion the Club in family discussions. Glen Mullan hinted that there is at least one of this generation that he has talked to. If as seems the case Venkys don't want to sell for whatever bizarre reason then as a fanbase we can try and force them to see sense (through the coalition most likely) or find another way of developing a connection that restores some interest and taps into their considerable wealth more reliably (and a new generation of interested Venkys might just be acceptable to the fanbase...though they would have a lot of work to do). I'm just interested to know if anyone knows anything about the younger generation of Venkys and if they have any interest in football at all. All the evidence would suggest its unlikely I know. Carrying on like we are is only going to end one way...downwards.. until we find a level we can afford to be at with the disinterest and underfunding Venkys senior employ. Probably League 2 or National league.

Quite possible, but the guarantee condition staying in place during the window gave an excuse for the cost-cutting that the suckers in the fanbase will lap up. -
Wood and Salt are playing for England. Green and Turner are away with Australia (I think). Don't think Buttler will play. So it's not our strongest team at all. Well done ECB, as ever.

Itโll take some skill to do that and remain in the championship. Skill I donโt think they have. League 2 here we come. Happy days. -

If we ever got a life line for someone to buy us and the venkys agree they'd make a Uturn and buy Derby ๐ -
If Ange is a success there I will be amazed. His style of play makes Lemmings look risk adverse. Fine if you're celtic and have all the best players. But if you're playing teams at a similar or higher standard to yourself you get taken apart.
