  1. Past hour
  2. I thought the same. Now heโ€™s a free argent surely the club have no say over who he can and canโ€™t talk to. Right?
  3. If he goes Derby, we have to agree to compensation or it will go to a tribunal. That's probably what he means, we are setting compo higher than they want to pay. In which case fine, take it to fucking tribunal then. Maybe get your own scouting team too...
  4. Yawn. Itโ€™s a discussion thread about Rovers-related transfers. Thereโ€™s a Rovers-related transfer in the X link. Thanks for your contribution though. Quality as ever!
  5. 'Blackburn are being extremely difficult to deal with' - well if this story is all true, that would be 5 of our better players from last season after taking our manager who had us in the playoffs, so yeh, no shit we are being difficult to deal with!
  6. Why would rovers be difficult to work with when it comes to Dolan? He isnโ€™t our player
  7. ยฃ32 for a senior in the Blackburn end if you pay on the day
  8. Thanks, but...Yawn...! Not bothered what the sodding Rams are doing. Just interested in what Rovers are up to (if anything).

  10. He did deserve to be treated like royalty though, to be fair ๐Ÿคด
  11. ยฃ35 to ยฃ37 (or ยฃ38 to ยฃ40 if you actually had the temerity of buying it from the ticket office) for a second division game, against Birmingham.
  12. I really like him, a few question marks on his decision making/final ball but let's be honest, if he had that polished he'd be playing at a higher level. His pace and directness is so refreshing, if we can keep him fit he'll cause issues this year, then it'll be a task keeping hold of him.
  13. Probably been mentioned already but just in case it hasnโ€™t, new fitness and strength coach in from Watford. Replacing Hodges, who of course has gone to Eustace and Derby. Come on John, it really is getting beyond a joke now ๐Ÿ˜ก
  14. Agree. Posted last night that my first impressions were that he was raw and clumsy.
  15. I would say we're currently weaker than our squad last season, but not significantly (yet!). The 'bigger' deals tend to be done towards the end of the window when the better loans become available and prices drop for the better players. So many unknowns yet, but Brittain will almost certainly leave and prob Trav too. That makes us significantly weaker than last season. Can we compensate that by being stronger in attacking positions? We need two attacking additions - RW and ST. The attacking players generally make or break your season. I do like the look of Kargbo and Tyjon. Think they'll add a lot to the attack next season. Ohashi could easily bag 15+ goals.
  16. Today
  17. When can we stop calling Kargbo raw? Bloody brllliant is what he is.
  18. Follows the same pattern as every window in recent times. Nobody has been bought that's any better than what we have and to impact the first 11. Just squad fillers & downgrades. McLoughlin might be better than Wharton, although I think they will end up being very similar.
  19. I think its pretty normal for away fans to be banned in Holland pre season, and other European countries too. They just expect large groups going on the piss causing aggro and its an unwanted expense policing it.
  20. So you do still think about me. I'm flattered. That calls for another drink
  21. Can anyone honestly say its been a good window so far? I can't
  22. I had to wind my neck in last night as I was sounding like me dad.... But I do agree in some respects on the current music scene, or the music scene for the past 20yrs, its been pretty poor in my opinion, with as you say some notable exceptions. I've always been into music, I listen to plenty of radio and have a few musicians in bands in the family, but its a struggle to find anything that stirs the interest these days if I'm honest. As for Oasis, seen them plenty of times, wasn't overly bothered about seeing them again, but the way they've captured this new generation has been phenominal. Got The Libertines, Magic Numbers, Oasis, Paul Heaton, Bob Dylan, Pulp and John Grant gigs coming up, so its a busy summer. I'm even considering going to watch Andre Rieu and The Johann Strauss Orchestra!
  23. Have to agree. Far to expensive.
  24. New series on BBC radio 4 โ€œ Shadow World - The Graverobbers โ€œ Itโ€™s all about a gang of con men who are faking wills, getting probate, and then disposing of peopleโ€™s assets. At the moment theyโ€™re getting away with it. Itโ€™s a similar scam to the one were people were having their houses stolen by con men. Hard to believe things like this can go in todayโ€™s world.
