Remember that game was in the Blackburn end. The atmosphere was toxic during the game. Doubt any rovers fan will let a whisper out if we're losing this one -

Southampton are terrible at the moment, so an easy 3 points for them. If memory serves me right a few Rovers managers have been dismissed following a defeat to Southampton - Roy Hodgson and I am sure there was another around that era? Here's hoping! -

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂
London blue replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Elliot made a great point on his post match podcast last night. Morishita was hailed as our "number one signing" that we had been chasing all summer. We were told he can play across the park and was VI's man from the start. Why, then, is he not starting every game? He should be formation proof and system proof. Combined with the lies about Tavares' fee and his glaring lack of quality it shines a light on the combination of lack of competence in our recruitment and the blatant lies coming from the club. -
Impressive boycott at Hillsborough tonight. The place is empty save for the Boro contingent.

I assume Sheff Wed are boycotting, their stadium is empty -
Allowing for ST holders whether they show or not it's obvious only about one thousand or so people are buying match tickets now. That should be a monumental wake up call for them but they'll just ignore it and pray for more huge away followings. Which by the way Sheff U's was surprising last night and will have left a lump in the throat of the bean counters who were expecting 3k at £30 a ticket. The absolute mugs.

They could try, training the best eleven to be able to last the full game. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

It's mostly about the mins, trying to increase book value and keeping everyone happy (TM). Red flags were there way back in the Brum game but it's a common theme here since GB's days and i think a few other head coaches do it as well, similar remits in the modern championship. On steroids here though but of course having the bench we have even the AI data would say you ain't turning this game with those subs. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Ghost7 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Not removing Ismael? The issue is I don't think anyone at the club will regret that decision, even when we go down. They aren't in it to see Rovers do well. Pasha and Gestede that is. It's also incredible they are the two names "in charge".... they shouldn't be anywhere near the club and are a far cry from the people we've seen in the past. This isn't about having the best manager to get results, it never was, we're shackled by incompetence enabled by absent owners. I'd like to know when a member of the Venky's family last checked the league table... or had a look who the current CEO is, can they name our strikers? Can they name the last player they genuinely signed for over £2m? There aren't many managers that would have been happy with our summer business, particularly the timing of the Hyam sale. In fact I think nearly all would have challenged it. Instead he pretended to be happy with their inept business and so is a perfect fit - they'll stick with him as long as they can. The fans were right and usually are but soon there'll be none left. -

If you work in data you know it can be manipulated to suit whichever narrative is most favourable. It isn't even difficult if the dataset is big enough and has multiple vague, stupid metrics. Anyone with eyes and a functioning brain can see we're going down. -

People not attending will not be seen by Pasha and Rudy as a protest. These gestures will be totally missed by them because they are so delusional. It’s a typical British way of complaining. People who have a bad meal or experience at a restaurant don’t complain they just decide not go to that restaurant again. The owners of the restaurant are not informed and so will not do anything about it. That’s why complaining at the ground is the only way of getting through to them the general consensus of feelings about the clubs bad management. Sadly you have to pay to do that.
