T4E
The clown that is Lua Lua has actually gone off injured after hurting himself doing his celebration. 398708 To be fair the commentators have decided it fits their agenda to claim thats the reason, it may well not be... Manchester Blue
Yeah well it does sound good doesn't it. Incidentally Boro winning 3-1 now. Hopefully won't affect us but if Boro reach the cup final and win the Uefa then 7th gets Uefa as well.
Eddie
3-2 Boro now. I want Charlton to win. Chartlon - Liverpool final would be nice (it's all relative).

ihateburnley
Bothroyd looks like he has a bit of quality actually. They reckon he could stake a claim to Charlton's second and has shown some lovely stuff. If only we had kept him and not bought Bellamy.

ihateburnley
I'm telling you the end of season league table will look like this: 4. Arsenal 65 5. Rovers 65 6. Spurs 62 Arsenal qualify for Champions League on goal difference.

philipl
Very pleasantly surprised Pompey got a point after that first half! 'arry's post match comment is a classic: "Lua Lua went off and did his treble back somersault with pike and twisted his ankle. It wasn't the cleverest thing he's ever done." So the finger nail chewing goes to the armpit (but rather our "worries" than Pompey's). Next two games gives us the dubious benefit of knowing what the other challengers have done. Arsenal's remaining fixtures look reasonably straightforwards except for a couple of meaningless games against Villarreal in the mix. As Waggy says, Spurs have a couple of very tricky ones. But so do we. Looking to season end, five wins out of five will see Rovers cheering Barca in Paris, four wins and a defeat might well be enough to get fourth. However, Spurs' four points advantage with five to play is beginning to look a decisive edge. Trouble is we might well lose the next two and it will still have been a great season even if we do. 54 points from 35 should still see us in 6th and a certain UEFA slot but a nail biter to defend it over the last three games. Hughesy
Its on!!! Win @ weekend and we are there! Tottenham – Away @ Everton – Very tricky game, potential slip up. Although Tottenham usually do well against Everton. Arsenal – Home to West Brom - Hopefully they might rest Henry and a few others for mid week and then West Brom might be able to take a point. Rovers – Home to Liverpool. – Massive game for us. If we win then we could put some pressure on the others around us.
gazsimm
i will be happy with a point against the scoucers this weekend, and hope chelsea get 3 points against Bolton to make our 6th place our own, then anything else is a bonus

Presty On Tour
Even your rediculously blind optimism couldn't make anyone believe Arsenal will do anything but pulverise West Brom at Highbury. 398795 i fancy wba at the library to at least get a point. wba have been playing alright in recent weeks and have been very unlucky in some of the refereing desicions against them. i think they will give the arse a real game and robson especially won't let them lie down. also in our favour is arsenal will be thinking ahead to the champions league semi, they will maybe rest a player or 2. as for spuds, they way everton played against charlton was awful, a team playing for nothing. hopefully the toffee crowd at home can drive them on and simon "digger" davies can do some damage against his old club.
