RibbleValleyRover Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 lets try this It worked :) Looks like i'll be giving next seasons away kit a miss, just like this season.
Blue n White Rover Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 lets try this <a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/wup2fo.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a> and this It worked Don't like it
EwoodGlory Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Thanks for putting the image up. When has a club ever had an away kit so close to the home, it's just strange
sparky12 Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Looks like i'll be giving next seasons away kit a miss, just like this season. it depends on what the home kit is like!!!
Eddie Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Really rather ugly. I certainly won't be buying it this year. Shame that as a premiership football club we'll be wearing something that an under 13's side might run out in.
BrownieFC Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Thanks for putting the image up. When has a club ever had an away kit so close to the home, it's just strange Thanks Dunno have we ever had a white away kit maybe trying something used less than red, yellow or black/dark blue which we have had as away kits for a few seasons
Hughesy Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Its hard to say how it will look until you see it all together. Shame we havent gone down the halved option.....
broadsword Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 A white away kit for a team whose home kit heavily features white? shurely shome mishtake?
Backroom Tom Posted May 12, 2009 Backroom Posted May 12, 2009 Not keen on that I don't think, all red with white and blue accents would have been far better
RoverRich Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 It does strike me as more of a training top as opposed to an away kit. Not a big fan of it. Would be a lot better if they had swapped the red and the white around IMO. I thought the idea of an away kit was to have a different coloured top to the home but obviously not in our case. Will probably end up wearing the 3rd kit more
novella Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Tried to mock it up using the clues we already have. Only a quick attempt. Nearly
BrownieFC Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Maybe my source is wrong it could be the training top
tony gale's mic Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Like I already said, I don't get what morons in whichever department designs our kit are thinking when we have a blue away kit followed by a white away kit.
sparky12 Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Maybe my source is wrong it could be the training top yeh but then why would we have a training top the same as the away kit :/ !!
Amo Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 If that is the actual away kit, then I'm not impressed at all.
mellison24 Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 that pic is just the training top if a convo with mr. vincenzo grella is anything to go by....he was wearing it....
doctorryan Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Maybe my source is wrong it could be the training top Let's hope so. But the way Sir Groob is reacting on the official site's board to this makes me feel we've uncovered the horrible truth. At least it isn't yellow.
sambo Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I am sure that is the right kit, my mate works in the club shop and sounds similar. Red shorts.
Presty On Tour Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 On first viewing, this seasons dark blue away kit is miles better than this effort imo.
ChesterRover Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Please god no!!!!!!!!!!! That surely has to be a training shirt, if not then maybe the home kit is going down the blue shorts route this season? I await the official release before a proper rant but hell fire thats bloody awful and very Bolton like.
Billy Castell Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I'd be very disappointed if that was the away kit for the reasons above. It looks like a crap Rangers away kit to me, and like others have said, it is too similar to the home kit. I know Sam used to manage Bolton..............
Stuart Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 If that is the away kit and from the style and pattern it would suggest it is, then I can understand why marketing have tried to build it up. Maybe the graphics looked good but I wouldn't have like to have been the one to open the box when the samples arrived. Might be a grower but right now, disappointed.
