John Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What did he say? Read the headline saying everything wrong at Blackburn right now, or something like that?

NookRover Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 He's not been on yet, but the clip they played on the sports news makes me think he'll struggle coming back!
BuckyRover Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 It's on the talksport website. He says he chose to leave because we sacked Sam He has no problem with Kean or the fans but it was a matter of principle (his decision to leave)
jim mk2 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 "I don't think what the club did with Sam Allardyce was right, that's why I wanted to go," added the 30-year-old. "I'm a loyal guy. I remember when he came to the club the club used to be down and Sam did everything to keep them up. He did a fantastic job. "I don't have any problem with [steve] Kean or with the new owner. I like the fans of Blackburn. I had a good time there. I played some of my best football in a long time this year and I just left because everything is going wrong right now at the club." Good quotes from Diouf who in addition to being a very good player has gone up even farther in my estimation in highlighting the values of justice and loyalty. He also alludes to the current boardroom difficulties at Rovers which will probably come to a head this summer. He's probably kicked his last ball for Rovers which is a shame; wish we had more like him.

Mattyblue Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I doff my hat off to you james, the trolling is reaching epic levels!
J*B Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Get a grip. Diouf is a Allardyce lover, and is clearly going to be responsible for dressing room unrest. Brilliant by Kean to spot that and ship him out. Hoillett has done more this season than Diouf, which is why he is first choice right winger. With Sam in charge Diouf would still be first choice and Hoillett wouldn't be getting a look in. We have Dunn who can cover right wing when fit. As can Mama Diouf, and Emerton. Diouf is a good player, did a job and now isn't needed by new management looking for the future. His wages are a burden that could be spent elsewhere.
cruz Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Scorned footballer in skew-eyed rant against the club that no longer wants him shocker Some simpletons actually fall for the sort of crap Diouf is spouting
sjsbrfc Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 More like Diouf Are we going for the baddie in this year's panto Jim? I wish people wouldn't quote jim mk2. I've got him on ignore
Amo Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I wish people wouldn't quote jim mk2. I've got him on ignore I just pretend he's trying to be funny now. Emphasis on the trying.
Darwen Rover Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Diouf was v good for us.. In my view respected the fans by almost always going out of his way for us.. He did his job and I respect his loyalty to Sam...
BuckyRover Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I just pretend he's trying to be funny now. Emphasis on the trying. He has become a parody of himself
Guest linganzi Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Diouf was v good for us.. In my view respected the fans by almost always going out of his way for us..I He did his job and I respect his loyalty to Sam... Agreed..he had come to the end with us and should enjoy running riot for rangers
ScottishRover Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Burley ranting about Diouf joining the SPL
Guest linganzi Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 All the real anti Diouf vitriol is tedious. There is the spitting years ago which has been apologized for. There is little else to pin on him with any accuracy ? A pantomime bad guy that served us well but his time came. There are much nastier prem players
BuckyRover Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 It's pathetic really. I don't think he will be good for our team after the departure of zzzSam but he is not the person the media paints him to be. He gets worse press than Barton. Says a lot really

There are much nastier prem players Lets not sugar coat it, the guy is a complete d1ck. you obviously didn't hear the prank phone call where he showed his true colours. Anyway he gave his all to Blackburn so good on him and good luck.
Guest linganzi Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 He is a bit of a Dick, but that's the extent of it ,he gets worse press than some really horrible characters. As for the prank call he turns it on them Your last para says it all , what more can we ask for ?
adopted scouser Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Well said Craig Burley and good riddance.
Guest linganzi Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Well said Craig Burley and good riddance. Pathetic. What has he done that is so bad while in our side ? Proven things not allegations
cruz Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 No wonder the bloke next to Ray Stubbs was laughing at Burley. What a numpty
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 He's doing alright in his first start for Rangers against Celtic so far. I think he'll make a good impact up there this half of the season. Hopefully Rangers will buy him afterwards (if they can find some money) or at least impress another club to come in with an offer.

philipl Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 We all knew that Diouf has an enormous respect for Sam and that no other manager has really managed to tame him. The comment that the club is going in the wrong direction is disturbing.
