Venkys have not promised us a cup win. Sorry mate they may be muppets an quiet rightly getting a kicking at the moment, they have not promised us a cup win. IMHO we will be lucky enough to stay in the EPL.

Do you get Granada reports in Bangkok Ffs?

They was on last year and we would be 8th and we WOULD win a cup!

That is what was said!

The GAVster is the biggest wind up merchant on the board, and he is getting better and better at reeling people in, I would doff my cap off to him if he wasn't so infuriating.

I wasn't the one making outlandish remarks about protests and revolution Matty, that ended up no more the wee and wind. I’m not going to spend today arguing about it, the facts speak for themselves.

The only reason you find me “infuriating” is because I’ve got a different opinion to yours, because we’ve never had a cross word really. This site has always encouraged alternative views, and still does, but sadly these days’ people are given a ‘cyber kicking’ for saying anything that isn’t towing the popular line, and that is a sad reality.

Gav, you keep posting, it is very important that people be able to post what they feel without getting a 'cyber kicking'. We all need to respect each other's opinions regardless of whether we agree with them.

I went tonight, was looking forward to the the claims made on here being backed up with some sort of action, sadly I was disappointed, no surprised really.

We have Kelbo telling us:

“I will hopefully get as close to the clown as I can and give himverbals for one, and with a banner!!

We have Majibal telling us:

“I'll be there screaming for him to be removed. The same way as most will hopefully be doing, screaming for his head for most of the game”

And last but not least we have mercerman:

“I'll be there tomorrow vocally giving Kean hell and will also join any protests outside the ground either before or after the match. If one of my pals comes along, dependent upon timing of a flight into Manchester, we will be in the JW as close to the dugout as possible, as my pal is ex RU and built like the proverbial and not even the two guerrillas who escort the ref off at half time could quieten him”

Well lads you’re full of pwiss and wind, not that I ever thought any different, but any respect I had for you before tonight, and Kelbo and Majibal I had plenty, that’s gone tonight, you’ve shown your true colours, you're full of ****.

The rest of you, who didn't even bother going, but spend your lives on here slagging of the manager and the owners, you're no better and you know who you are.

Pathetic

Gav..post of the week by a country mile. Cracking.

Mickey mouse cup? Did you say that at Cardiff!

UHGG.......yes we won it, but that does'nt strenghen the case for it not being mickey mouse in most peoples priorities. Would i swap winning the coca cole cup this year for another 10 points this year ...in a heartbeat, would i do the same for the FA cup, NO.

Kean is going nowhere any time soon. His smug little wave after the final whistle to Belaji or Anderson said it all for me.

For me that was the most telling part of the night. When he waved to his masters up above it was hardly the wave of a man who felt under pressure for his job. Clearly Kean has the full backing of the Rao family and it would appear that Anderson has not, despite reports saying otherwise, left the scene. Like it or not our future is now in the hands of the Raos, Kean and Anderson. The strategy would appear to be one of replacing experienced players with young & cheap foreigners. It's a high risk strategy and one that depends on the players settling quickly and the manager being able to find the right tactics to suit the new arrivals.

Personally, I'm coming to the point where I really don't care anymore. After 50 years of following the club I feel that the present set up bears no relation to the Blackburn Rovers that I have loved for over half a century. The Rao's, as a family, have failed miserably to connect with the public of Blackburn and their continued support for Kean merely underlines how little they understand of the consequences that relegation could bring to the club.

As always, the team will continue to have my support - both home and away - but as for the Rao family, Kean, Anderson and the rest of the Venky mob, I really can't put into words the contempt that I feel towards them at the moment. I'm prepared to be won around but at the moment I really do fear for the club both on and off the pitch.

Another cracking post from a poster unable to comment on football matters!!

And indeed cyber kicking is now classed as a criminal offence, be careful who you wind up!!

Do tell me how you can swap points for a cup win. Well the arsenal fans and players looked ###### off when they lost it!

Gav..post of the week by a country mile. Cracking.

Thought it was a stupid post myself. Not many supporters are going to start chanting protests chants when their team is winning 3 0 in under ten minutes. Totally stupid if they did.

It was commonsence not to chant anti - Kean / venkys stuff, in the light of developments on the pitch. Nobody from owners down to the supporters expected Rovers to be winning 3 0 before ten minutes had been played. It took everybody by surprise. To chant protest stuff in a situation the team was in last night, could have been detrimentle to the players.

We all have a common goal on here, the success of the team on the field. None of us have an issue with the players, but only with the owners and the manager.

Winning 3 0 after only ten minutes was a fantastic thing to happen. Any genuine Rovers supporter is not going to stage protest in such a situation. Even though it was against a very very poor sheff Weds side.

What we do not like is things off the pitch, the manager for example. But with regards to that, the owners etc are now more than aware that a lot of supporters do not want Kean as the manager.

I'll even suggest that if the owners start doing things properly there will be no protests about them. But having Kean as a manager is not doing things right. Most of us can see there are some good young players at Rovers. A decent manager can help them progress a lot better, which would benefit them, as well as the club.

Well well well. I went to the game last night and I have to say I am going to go against the grain and ignore the most pettiest of arguing, threats and childish moronic tittle tattle that some of our members are involved in. yes, schools out but its nearly septembeer and they can all toddle off back to the classroom and revert back to being in bed by 10pm on wekdays.

Really, some of you on here are nothing short of babies and should all have had your nappy changed much earlier.

I am most definately not a Kean fan but tonight it was evident there is some football ethics within the team. There is the evidence that we do have some good footballers and there is some hope that there is a progression from a hoofball team into a footballing team.

I was impressed with the team in particular Rochina and Goodwillie. I thought in NZonzi and Petrovic we were seeing the basis of two solid midfielders whilst in Givet, we had some sort of organisation at the back. Whoever thinks he cannot play CB get a grip.

Granted, we were only playing a second string Sheff Wed team BUT you can only beat the team thats in front of you.

The way we set off was unbelieveable, 3 shots in 5 minutes and a 3-0 lead. You have to admire the efforts from Ruben.

The first half should have yielded more goals but we are through to round 3 where it is in all probablilty VILLA await us !!

The biggest concern that I had was what exactly was said at half time ! Rovers came out a totally different team, different make up and negative attitude. The team lost all shape and when Wednesday scored you could see a lot of nerves in the team. I wonder if Kean cannot get the right messages across or that it was simply the team becoming complacent with such a commanding lead.

It is perhaps this aspect that worries me most where Kean is concerned. He just doesnt seem to know how to control the game in the second half or at least get his message to the players.

I suppose the match on Saturday will give us a clue.

Back come more experienced defenders and we may have another player or two available.

like I said I want kean out and dont rate him but at the same time, I am going to give him some credit in the manner and way the team/players try to play football with a decent range of pass and move techiniques, something drastically missing over the years at Ewood.

Goodwillie could well be the poacher we need, what a finish for his goal and the offisde goal was well taken/finished.

I am going to wait until Saturday now to see if we can see the progression from the first team from hoofers to footballers.

In the meantime, I have emailed Rovers asking for nappy changing facilities to be opened in all four corners of the ground just in csae some of you start leaking during the match on Saturday.

End of the day 1864, we are in the business of winning football matches- I will repeat my mantra- will Kean get us 40 points from 36 games?

For me, this open style of play will lead to more home defeats and considering we still look woeful on our travels, it doesn't look good.

I'm pragmatic and want to win, if Kean can get us winning games, then all power to the bloke.

However, this club can't afford to get relgated chasing some abstract vision of 'a good footballing ethos.'

So how much longer are you willing to give him? Another 5 games? 10 games? Until Christmas?

After the Wolves game the fellow standing next to me said that if there had been an attempt to play football, then the defeat may have been in some way tolerable. But we didn't, we may as well had Sam in charge, except Sam would have organized his defence better. I just find this "playing football" a bit of a smokescreen, we've done it in only a handful of games under Kean.

On the whole I just can't see much of a difference, apart from now we have a terrible defence. Under struggling opposition we manage it in spells (for example last night, Wolves away last season and Liverpool at home). A lot of the time we're still hoofing it, and losing the ball at every opportunity. Ball retention is terrible. We still have huge holes in midfield. The other significant difference is we tend to commit too many players and get caught out. If we continue to play like we did in our opening couple of games we'll get pasted.

It's quite nice that some people are keeping the faith but I can't help feeling it'll be those people that are going to be the people screaming for the heads of Kean/Venkys the most when this house of cards comes tumbling down.

It won’t stop me posting Kamy, been here far too long for that to happen. It’s the new posters that come on, and get hit from all angles, that I’m talking about. It was once a happy place, even through trying times on the pitch, but most of the good posters have left and you can’t blame them really.

And indeed cyber kicking is now classed as a criminal offence, be careful who you wind up!!

Get over it Kelbo, its yesterdays news.

As I said there are a load of people waiting in the wings as soon as Blackburn win they suddenly appear.

Results really change opinions, two wins Kean becomes a hero with great prospects. Two defeat and he'll be the worse manager in history.

That's Rovers supporters for you.

Result business at the end of the day, next Everton.

I'd give Kean 3 or 4 more games he has to properly hang himself and that not the case yet.

I think he'll fail but we have to watch and wait

So what you're saying PAFELL is wait until we're losing to start protesting? Does the win last night change the fact certain posters have been after Kean since day one? Does one win actually make that much difference?

It didn't to the Villa fans under Houllier, they revealed banners and protested outside the ground win, lose or draw.

I don't recall ANY protests in my time watching Rovers, and beleive me there were plenty of times when one would have been justified! We are not Newcastle or West Ham, and we are all the better for that. But when the time comes, Ewood Park will let the manager and the owners know what they feel.
