Backroom DE. Posted January 14, 2012 Backroom Posted January 14, 2012 Unbelievable. Say what you want about Formica but the boy can find the net.
Rovers in America Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Wooooooooo! Come on Rovers, please hold onto this.
Doug Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL, Wake me up!! Come on lads!!! Out of bottom 3 with a bit of luck!!
Majiball Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 That was a beautiful ball by MGP, and Formica bags the third.
Jay-Rovers Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I have almost forgot what it feels like to win. I know we still have a load of problems but winning sure feels good.
malk Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 What are the excuses going to be for the doom mongers? Surely players like Dunn and Pedersen can't have a good game? Surely we can't show incredible spirit and no little artifice? I thought it was guaranteed we'd be going down?
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I thought it was guaranteed we'd be going down? Still on course.
Sysagent Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Quite shocked to say the least... Ten men and we pull off a 3 - 1 win at our home ground! Just what on Earth is going on at Ewood, you have to ask.
Backroom DE. Posted January 14, 2012 Backroom Posted January 14, 2012 I honestly don't know what to say. What a strange season. How did that happen? Full credit to the lads today - massive performance with ten men. We may still go down but it looks like at the very least we'll go down fighting. As for Chris Samba... don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. You're no leader.
Balwer Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Great win. More of the same please, we have had no momentum at all this season when we do get a rare win or away draw.
bigbrandjohn Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Magnificent team spirit. 10 men 3-1 Believe
alexanders Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 IM HIGH! FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE FROM THE TEAM.
imy9 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I hope Samba is sat on his ass at home watching and feeling like a prat because that's what he is for ditching us in our hour of need, well done lads but Yak gone for 3 games who is his replacement?
rovers11 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 wow, fantastic effort from the lads. Samba, i hope u were watching that spirit
jim mk2 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 In the words of the great Bard, how sh!t must Fulham be if they can lose to Rovers (Henry IV Part 111) ?
yoda's brother Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 What are the excuses going to be for the doom mongers? Surely players like Dunn and Pedersen can't have a good game? Surely we can't show incredible spirit and no little artifice? I thought it was guaranteed we'd be going down? where you been hiding ? one win doesnt make a summer. but well done to the lads today, more please.
LeChuck Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 well done lads but Yak gone for 3 games who is his replacement? Goodwillie was brilliant, he seems fitter and half a yard quicker than when he arrived. Unlucky not to score as well.
joey_big_nose Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 What are the excuses going to be for the doom mongers? Surely players like Dunn and Pedersen can't have a good game? Surely we can't show incredible spirit and no little artifice? I thought it was guaranteed we'd be going down? Fantastic performance, really superb from everyone. Even Goodwillie had a good last twenty. THe final goal was one of the best I have seen Rovers ever score. Really really pleased. However we do have to be mindful that Fulham were poor, especially without the ball. They didn't close down any of our players which was crazy when our confidence is so low and the Rovers team so young, and they had an extra man for sixty minutes. I doubt we will ever have it that easy in midfield again this season. We HAVE to follow this up with a couple of decent results. Also we HAVE to sign a good battling midfielder and a good striker.
Doug Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Against all odds, brilliant result. Gave us no chance when Yak got sent off. Pity Wolves drew but Bolton got beat. Well done to the much criticised Dunn, Peds and Formica, and the rest of the lads!
