dwayne cage Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 am i right in typing that kean said if the game had been 80 mins long, we would have won? He's said that before so i wouldnt put it past him. He said last season if the games had only last 45 mins we'd be in the Europa league spots

Stuart Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 am i right in typing that kean said if the game had been 80 mins long, we would have won? That's got to be made up!
Backroom DE. Posted August 18, 2012 Backroom Posted August 18, 2012 With Kean any quote is possible. We're probably going to need to dig up that quotes thread from a few months back.
rovers11 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Interesting Bala was at the game today. Got a feeling they are going to be keeping a much closer eye on things this season after they have spent some serious cash. If kean survives the season I will be flabbergasted and we will be playing in the championship again next season.
hesfromburn Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Absolutly Pathetic, Formica is not a winger so what did he expect him to do there??? Lowe is not a left back again what did he expect and pedersen hasnt made an impact playing on the wings for years. For starters he could have played kazim on the wing with formica behind gomes, at least kazim is more of a natural winger. KEAN OUT!
philipl Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Well that was a load of old piddlyplop wasn't it?
cn174 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Here's the insightful comments: http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/9881954.Kean_admits_Rovers_were_too_deep/?ref=twt bla bla effin bla!
Waggy76 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 No it shouldn't. Kean assembled a poor Premier League side which took us down. That starting XI has key flaws and is not good enough to win 'hands down' at any average Championship club. Don't overhype them. Very true , we have mainly poor players and 1 or 2 good ones ... Kean cannot set up a team to win !
Backroom DE. Posted August 18, 2012 Backroom Posted August 18, 2012 Oh, by the way, our away kit makes us look like Bolton.
arbitro Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The real surprise for me is that some people are actually surprised. His lack of tactical acumen and game changing substitutions are a mirror image of so many games last season. Kean aside we must have the worst coaching team in professional football. I've said for some time now that there is more change of relegation than promotion with these clowns on the sidelines.
Backroom DE. Posted August 18, 2012 Backroom Posted August 18, 2012 Here's the insightful comments: http://www.lancashir...o_deep/?ref=twt bla bla effin bla! Kean said: “I think the two big factors in the game were the chance that falls to Colin when it narrowly goes over. If that goes in the game is dead and buried. If he's talking about the chance I'm thinking about IT WASN'T EVEN A REAL CHANCE. It was a half chance and Kazim-Richards blasted it way over. Excuses, excuses. Kean, face it, you're a terrible manager and more and more people are realising it. Edit: Actually, there was another chance. A chip from outside the box, narrowly over but nonetheless not a clear cut chance.
Waggy76 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 From what i've been hearing Dann was pretty good. Can't say officially though Anyone else believe Formica is madly over rated? I would get rid of Formica , not good enough ..Tries but just not up to it !!!! Interesting Bala was at the game today. Got a feeling they are going to be keeping a much closer eye on things this season after they have spent some serious cash. If kean survives the season I will be flabbergasted and we will be playing in the championship again next season. If Kean is there all season , 1st Division must be a distinct possibility ...
arbitro Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Here's the insightful comments: http://www.lancashir...o_deep/?ref=twt bla bla effin bla! 'Ipswich are an excellent side'. The man hasn't got a clue. Blaming the yellow cards that Murphy and Etuhu got for defending deep. A decent manager would have had it sorted and gone on to score a second goal when Ipswich were pushing forward. I just wish he would get out of our club.
Rovers_Dan Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 How pathetic Kean is! Since when do teams start backing out of challenges and decidin not to put pressure on there opponents due to them possibly getting a red card? Absolute joke, I've heard it all now! Let's stop tackling and let them go through us!
Backroom DE. Posted August 18, 2012 Backroom Posted August 18, 2012 It's the exact same thing we've been doing for the last 18 months since Kean took charge. We've never stopped doing it since he took charge and to be honest I doubt we ever will. I think it mainly comes from a lack of plan. The players have no idea what to do, so they back off and sit back. I guess it's the natural thing to do when you have no idea what you're supposed to be doing.
philipl Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Anybody with half a brain could see Kean threw two points away. Shabby, how brainless are you?
The Rover of Finland Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 He is giving credit now sides we can´t beat. Need a reality check?
Rovers_Dan Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 West ham did really well today by the way. Brilliantly organised! Sam had everything set up perfectly for an opening day win there! Guts me to see that. KEAN OUT!!
bazza Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I don't think I've ever hated someone as much as I hate Kean. There will actually be a day of celebration in Blackburn when that tw@ has gone. I have a dream of a mass of Rovers supporters doing the conga all the way round the outside of Ewood Park to a song such as "Stevie Kean got sacked, yea; Stevie Kean got sacked, yea; la la la la; la la la la".
Relegation Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 So i see the transfer listed hairproduct harvester is still ahead of the CL-experienced Simon... why even try to make any sense of that.
blue_n_white99 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 am i right in typing that kean said if the game had been 80 mins long, we would have won? That's what makes him such a good thinker, always outside the box is stevie boy, also outside of his padded accomodation
perthblue02 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I think we are being a bit hard on little Stevie, He's told us how he had a tough upbringing as a kid on the mean streets of Glasgow ( well Cumbernauld but lets not dent his perceived realty) that must have led to many a nightmare and bed wetting episodes, could explain his ability at not keeping clean sheets
Mercer Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Understand that Balaji and friends were there today with faces like thunder at the end of the match.
ABBEY Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Interesting Bala was at the game today. Got a feeling they are going to be keeping a much closer eye on things this season after they have spent some serious cash. The Rover of Finland Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 am i right in typing that kean said if the game had been 80 mins long, we would have won? He may also think the third shot on target would have nailed it! At Spurs the figure was nil so let´s take positives.
