braddock Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 You are in a minority. He was dross and giving 110% counts for nothing when said 110% actually produced nothing of substance whatsoever. But you just agreed with him.

yoda Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Ah yes, they demanded he came on, he came on and was bobbins and the fans weren't happy with the manager that he brought him on and he was bobbins. The glory days. there wern't any glory days last season
yeti-dog Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 But you just agreed with him. I guess I did, sort of.. Although I'm sure there's more out there than just Gav who rated Ward.
andymcg06 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Ha ha Abbs On Rochina I think he works well as a sub as an almost unknown quantity but Gomes should be rested and Edinho is terrible He could go with Rosado, he plays CAM doesn't he ?
Clitherover Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This is the first game this season where I am fairly damn confident of an win, no clean sheet though. I can see signs of brilliance from our forwards and the usual tripe from our defence. Rhodes and Gomes should really be having a field day against a team like Barnsley. 4-1 Rovers. COYB!
windymiller7 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 First game I'm going to in while. Finally gave in to peer pressure (well daughter pressure!) She's been desparate to go to her first ever game since mid last season. Couldn't face taking her and didn't want her first impression of going to the game to be a stadium full of hatred towards one man, especially as she'd probably have seen her dad in quite a different light, joining in with bulging eyes! Anyway, so it's the dawn of a new era as the next generation makes the trip to Ewood for the first time, hope there's plenty to get excited about, I can see us scoring a few (as well as predictably conceding). I'm going for a 4-2 to Rovers - Rhodes(2) Rochina & a Hanley header from a set piece.
bazza Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This could be a case of "after the Lord Mayor's show". I hope we win but I forecast a 1-1 draw.
Gav Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Thunder and lightning with torrential rain in cherry tree right now not looking forward to the walk down We're in Skiathos and it's been the same for the past 4 days, we've not seen the sun yet!! We'll be listening/watching the scores, even though we don't care.....LoL
callumrovers Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Anyone where I can listen to his on the radio?n Radio Lancs? Will be driving while the games on.
Gav Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 You are in a minority. He was dross and giving 110% counts for nothing when said 110% actually produced nothing of substance whatsoever. Not his fault the manager kept picking him yeti, 110% is all he could do under the circumstances surely, but he was dross!
Mattyblue Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Ward built a property empire on the back of his 'talent'.
Backroom DE. Posted September 18, 2012 Backroom Posted September 18, 2012 We'll concede at least 2 so we'll need to score at least 3 to win. We should win this match, but with Kean at the helm I'm never confident. We could just as easily lose 3-0, though if Rhodes or Gomes keeps their good early season form up we'll grab at least 2 goals.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Barnsley are in my opinion second worst team in the league, 2 goal winning margin is the minimum requirement for me. Hopefully a 3-0 ish scoreline. Will also try to keep everyone updated. I know many at the game but for those who aren't i'll have radio etc on and will keep updating.
Mercer Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Expect a win by at least 3 clear goals tonight. Have backed us to win 4-1 & 5-1. This is a p1ss poor league which we will stroll through even with Coco leading us.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Robbo, Orr, Olsson, Formica, Rhodes, MGP, Murphy, Dann, Etuhu, Rochina, Hanley. Subs: Kean, Henrique, Lowe, Nunes, Dunn, Nuno Gomes, Bruno
Stand & Deliver Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Says on SSN that the good twin is in for the bad one,and Hanley in for Givet. Nothing on Gomes or Murphy being rested
Backroom Tom Posted September 18, 2012 Author Backroom Posted September 18, 2012 Rochina and Rhodes up top as predicted by most Should be interesting at least
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Gomes is rested yes, just posted the line up, murphy still in.
LeChuck Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Robbo, Orr, Olsson, Formica, Rhodes, MGP, Murphy, Dann, Etuhu, Rochina, Hanley. Subs: Kean, Henrique, Lowe, Nunes, Dunn, Nuno Gomes, Bruno Why has the website starting listing in squad number order? It means nothing and looks very unproffesional. I guess: Robinson; Orr, Hanley, Dann, Mn Olsson; Formica, Etuhu, Murphy, Pedersen; Rochina, Rhodes (I realised after starting that there isn't much doubt about that line up).
The Rover of Finland Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Hope Mauro takes his chance though he isn´t a winger and his natural position is well covered. Expect to concede atleast once and score atleast three. Rhodes will score.
Stonesrick Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Strange that there is no Simon? Probably off to Fleetwood on loan next week! But of course our glorious manager knows best
Commondore Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Wasting Formica on the right wing will count among the most heinous of Kean's many crimes in a few years time.
Clitherover Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Very happy to see Ruben starting for a change, let's see how he does given the opportunity of a full game.
iBL4cKBuRn Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Formica works so hard, really like that about him. Has Rochina ever started behind the striker? remember countless wasted RW's
LeChuck Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Wasting Formica on the right wing will count among the most heinous of Kean's many crimes in a few years time. He had quite a few chances behind Yakubu last season and didn't really take them. Since then both Gomes and Rochina have shown themselves to be more effective in his position. We should have really sold Formica in the summer and brought in someone more useful.
