Let's look at our starting 11, shall we?

Blackburn Rovers
  • 34 Kean - Rookie keeper getting worse by the match.
  • 02 Kane - Overrated loanee who is still learning his trade.
  • 03 Spurr - Bought in on a free after being released by Doncaster. okedr
  • 05 G Hanley - Likes food.
  • 16 Dann - His talent exists only in his reputation.
  • 06 Lowe - Poor at everything except running about a lot.
  • 08 Dunn - Skillful but about as mobile as an oil tanker.
  • 19 Taylor - Signed on a free after Millwall decided not to renew his contract.
  • 25 Judge - An academy failure, signed after his Notts County contract expired.
  • 11 Rhodes - Needs service to score goals. I think I see the problem.
  • 45 Cairney - On loan from the mighty Hull City.

Honestly, is it any wonder we're struggling? We'll do well not to get relegated.

Venkys once said we are "transitioning." Give them credit, they have been true to their word. Quite the transition indeed.

Exactly what I've been saying all summer. The cry to get in cheap grafters baffled me from the start. You sign poor/mediocre players and it doesn't matter how hard they work, you'll be a poor/mediocre team. Dunn our best player tonight by all accounts, a guy many fans wanted out cause he's old and injury prone. Well yeah damn right he is, but he's actually good. We needed to sign good players, and get them to work hard. But you don't get good players on free transfers and low wages, and it seems that's all Venkys were willing to pay.

I really wanted him to do well but the pressure will start to build on Bowyer simply because a change of manager is the cheapest thing we can do to improve. If its a choice between replacing Bowyer and spending money on building a good team for him, I expect Venkys will replace Bowyer.

Seriously, what should we have expected ?

Previously successful structure at the club dismantled by Barry White, his equally naive brother and the evil Indian Empress Mrs D.

These idiotic Pune crapheads believe we can compete in the second hardest league around, with bargain buys and a stand in manager who couldn't polish Tony Parkes boots.

We've had it, must be great to be a Bumley fan right now

Unfortunately I think you're spot on DE.

It think the only optimism I certainly had emanated from the fact we haven't had a behind the scenes circus for 2 or 3 months.

I guess Charlie Corolie and Crewe are still lurking in the shadows though.
