Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 How long did he play for? All of 6 minutes? Very different starting a game as oppose to one that's already won and lost. I think playing him would have given Barnsley a psychological boost going into the game, plus if they'd clattered him in the first 5 minutes who knows how it would have affected him. Tonight is not the night to start experimenting with a young lad. Agreed, he needs to come on with 15 mins to go if we're winning about 3-0 !
grizfoot Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I'm a little confused by this line-up if I'm honest, I'm not entirely sure what formation we are playing. We did play three up-top away at Leeds didn't we? Maybe it is 4-3-3 then with Gestede and Dunn supporting Rhodes upfront.

riverside returns Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Sounds like a Christmas tree line up. 4-3-2-1
Ossydave Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Has Bowyer been asked in any media interviews why he persists in playing Williamson in the centre of the park? None of us can understand so it'd be interesting to hear it from the horses mouth what the logic is.
FGS5635 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Blackburn Rovers @OneRovers 3m Rovers have lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, similar to Leeds on NYD, with David Dunn and Rudy Gestede supporting Jordan Rhodes up front. 0-0 Blackburn Rovers @OneRovers 4m The three-man midfield sees Lee Williamson in the centre, Tom Cairney on the right and Jason Lowe on the left. 0-0
RockinRover Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 From what I've heard so far it looks like we're playing this formation.. Robinson Henley, Kilgallon, Hanley, Spurr Lowe, Cairney, Williamson Dunn Gestede, Rhodes
Husky Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Here we go. Listening on the radio is a lot warmer
CapeTownRover Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 hmm Lowe and Williamson on the Wing lol.. i cant handle seeing those 2 starting, im so tired of it now. these are winnable game, but if we persist with those 2, then i would like to know what the reasons are
Friarsnig Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I always get confused between Barnsley and Burnley.
FGS5635 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 We have had some good chances already. We really need to be more clinical
Husky Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The way this is going we'll probably be 3-0 down at half time
Rover_Shaun Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The way this is going we'll probably be 3-0 down at half time We need to start turning our good periods into goals
Roverthechimp Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Suspect Dunn will go off for Taylor after 60 minutes but looks like we want goals tonight :-)
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2014 Backroom Posted January 28, 2014 Rhodes and Dunn and now Gestede had chances it sounds like At the other end a Robbo great save has kept us level!
FGS5635 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Derby behind to yeovil. That will do for a start
Jimmy612 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Judge scores for Brentford. Not his debut is it?
sharpysharps Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Sounds like rovers are well on top but need to make the most of it.
