Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Wonder if Varney and have Feeney are like Campbell and permanent deals done? I wouldn't think so. We seem to have had loads of average players on loan in the past season or two and didn't always sign them. I'm thinking of players like Cameron Stewart.
Dan Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Hard to argue with Bowyer continuing in charge. Great work. Really looking forward to seeing how this side develops. Two quality strikers, three good wingers, a great passer in Cairney. Not totally convinced by Evans, but sounds like he is growing into his role. Keep Keane if we can, bring in some better bench options in cm, cb, fb, cf. Its a good team at this level. Not being in the playoffs already has been down to negative tactics and bottling it when we have has the lead on too many occasions. I don't think the (majority) of the team is too far away. He is a young manager though, but at times it hasn't seemed like he is learning. Especially the amount of times we've sat on a lead and blown it. Anyway, fingers crossed, come on Rovers (x2!).
Derby Blue Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 If Brighton get a point at Forest AND Reading get 3 more points then it's all over. If Brum beat Wigan and one of the above two happens then we can still get into the play-offs by beating Wigan by 2 goals. Depends on how many Brum beat Wigan by though. The heavier the score the worse their DG will be.
Husky Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Anyone else lost the radio? Technical issues. Wigan v Blackpool is on instead.
otto man Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Trying to minimize my disappointment. Who is Leonard Cohen? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Cohen Enjoy!
Stuart Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 It was a huge point against Yeovil. Oh wait a minute. -1
Backroom DE. Posted April 26, 2014 Backroom Posted April 26, 2014 We'll be looking to Birmingham to beat Wigan now. You know you've left it too late when you have to rely on utter crap like Doncaster to do you a favour.
adsfortheblues Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Reading won. All over now for us unless Wigan lose their game in hand and Brighton @#/? up last game
Husky Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 "Let's call the whole thing off"........... We need another goal and then when Birmingham win midweek it'll all be back on.
Mike Graham Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Not just yet... If Brum beat Wigan and Forest beat Brighton we can still overtake Wigan and sneak in. We'd need another fortuitous set of results of course. Not just yet... If Brum beat Wigan and Forest beat Brighton we can still overtake Wigan and sneak in.
