bob fleming Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy. Vardy?!? I guess there are 19 other Premier League teams asking the same question.

Pedro Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy. Legend has it that we were well aware of him but someone misheard his name and we signed Varney.
gumboots Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy.at the time if we'd talked of buying players from clitheroe or Fleetwood there would have have been uproar. As it turns out they've been successful but they could have been mega flops.
Backroom Mike E Posted December 1, 2015 Backroom Posted December 1, 2015 You're one to talk JAL, writing off a player who's now at Utd. Any hoop... I don't think we can underestimate Lambert's influence on our 2 young centre backs. They will absolutely listen to him. He's a Scotsman who won the CL (appeals to Hanley) and was a Celtic captain (appeals to Duffy).
A cup of beans Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Vardy?!? I guess there are 19 other Premier League teams asking the same question. Sticks in the throat more when we decided to buy Leon Best for 3m on ludicrous wages, when we could've bought Vardy for 1m and about 6 grand a week.
T J Hooker Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Who's avin a brew? http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/blackburn-rovers-tea-party-ewood-park-2830438.aspx? come on! left over biccys are going to charity nice little friendly sounding event though, not my cup of T mind, but I'm sure many will lap it up.
SoldierMo Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 They have to be better than this league ......not simply good enough.... better chaddy....that's why the empty seats are the majority at Ewood Park ! Ok JAL How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy. Ok Jal
deryck guyler's spoon Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 You shouldn't mock the afflicted Mo.
patrickvalery Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy. You have some very fuzzy logic JAL. I'm fairly sure you're just about the biggest wind up merchant on here. Except you don't really get under people's skin. Because more often than not your posts are so far out of left field they just make people laugh or maybe roll their eyes.
JAL Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Legend has it that we were well aware of him but someone misheard his name and we signed Varney. Varneys agent has done well at Rovers Pedro he got his client Bradley a good payout.
gumboots Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 What has Alan myers got against fig rolls? Gone down in my estimation now
chaddyrovers Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 They have to be better than this league thats BETTER chaddy for second time otherwise how do you stand a chance of promotion or winning ? Henry had 5 mins to turn one point into three from Tonyoz report I wasn't there it's sounds like he nearly turned one point into none with his brief performance. What's going on ? Hanley is in the Scotland national squad and Duffy was on the bench for Ireland in their last game. so our centre backs must be good then? Plus you need to remember we have transfer embargo and we haven't spend much money in the last 2/3 seasons Don't know really JAL, other than the transfer window being shut and the transfer embargo we're under I can't think of a single reason why Lambert hasn't replaced the entire first team squad with Man City players. exactly Bob How did Rovers miss someone like Duncan Watmore or Vardy. Most clubs would be thinking that BUT we do have Jordan Rhodes in our squad who is a proven goalscorer and the best finisher in this league
JAL Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 When's Duffy going to stop costing the first team points chaddy and start earning the team points ?
chaddyrovers Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 When's Duffy going to stop costing the first team points chaddy and start earning the team points ? Maybe if you attend games then maybe you would know these things???
roverandout Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Come on jal, come over from the dark side, even I have now seen the light, your posts seem to be of the wind-up side, we finally have a great manager we can all believe in.
old darwen blue Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Maybe if you attend games then maybe you would know these things??? Go on Chadds give it to him/her. "Eggs on" Who's avin a brew? http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/blackburn-rovers-tea-party-ewood-park-2830438.aspx? come on! left over biccys are going to charity nice little friendly sounding event though, not my cup of T mind, but I'm sure many will lap it up. Wow Mr Myers, I know youve been ill and that but you promised this ages ago!

Mattyblue Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 If he can get a tune out of that lummox then we really have hit the jackpot.
blueboy3333 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Lamberts right when he says he's a handful and has a good touch. He was never as bad as people made out, he just isn't a goalscorer. anyway i've dragged up an old Brown thread and put the link in there.
arbitro Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Lamberts right when he says he's a handful and has a good touch. He was never as bad as people made out, he just isn't a goalscorer. anyway i've dragged up an old Brown thread and put the link in there. His mobility is poor but he could be an option to Rhodes when we are desperately defending a lead (as in the last two games) to hold the ball up using his strength and bulk. To play him in a two up front from the start of a game would be pointless in my opinion. The proof of the pudding as far as rating him will be if Lambert offers him a new deal for next season

A cup of beans Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 If he can get a tune out of that lummox then we really have hit the jackpot. I doubt we'll see much from him. The article read like answers to specific questions about Brown /platitudes.
