AllRoverAsia
Oh for gods sake commentators never let a bad decision drop when it's against a fashionable team do they? Yes Newcastle should have had a penalty but this stays 0-0 if they put a man on the post He turned his back...it hit him on the arm.. accident .. there is a God .. and hes not feckin Toon
chaddyrovers
Very good header by Smith.. Fulham deserve to be leading. Newcastle havent created anything for Gayle and Perez.
Baz
Very good header by Smith.. Fulham deserve to be leading. Newcastle havent created anything for Gayle and Perez. Gayle and Perez haven't had possession of the ball to allow anyone else on their team to get forward and create something, or worked as a partnership for each other. punerover
According to the BEEB Hanley is having an off day.
Backroom Tom Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 According to the BEEB Hanley is having an off day.He looks exactly like Grant Hanley, big and gets in the way but a danger to his own team at the same timeEdit could have given away a penalty then at first glance
AllRoverAsia
According to the BEEB Hanley is having an off day. He's playing most of ths game as LB

G Somerset Rover
Was literally about to say that. It was Hanley all over. I really rate him but he's always going to have that in his locker.
SIMON GARNERS 194
7,000 Geordies there for a televised Friday night game....their team looks nothing but average to me!
Backroom Tom Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 Toon fans not happy with him on Twitter at all but he will get some big blocks in
Backroom DE. Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 It's no coincidence that Hanley started looking good when our better players were being shown the door. He's a decent Championship defender, but that's all he is and Newcastle fans will probably expect far too much from him.
G Somerset Rover
Cairney's having a very good game.

Backroom Tom Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 I think my favourite thing this season is watching Newcastle fail, they didn't look good tonight at all.
Backroom DE. Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 Great start for Fulham. Considering 4/5 of their backline (GK included) were making their debuts, that was pretty impressive. Newcastle looked clueless. Welcome to the Championship again, Geordies.

Baz
Well deserved Fulham. Newcastle created nowt, and bar a couple of penalty shouts that would have been soft, cant really complain about the result. Incidentally, Janmaat - that had to be a red under the FA's new clampdown surely? Running at the ref shouting, waving his arms around, then slamming the ball into the ground? Backroom Tom Posted August 5, 2016 Backroom Share Posted August 5, 2016 Ref was never going to book him until he slammed the ball, refs need a couple of early reds for that to show the rule is serious
Stuart
Cairney MoM. Looked good from what I saw. Thanks again Venkys.Selling a player who was a potential match winner, if managed properly, who didn't want to leave, for less than his market value. Brilliant.
