if he`s got a quarter of his dads ability that will do for me🙂

I'd hope for better than one goal every twelve games, if his dad was one in three 😉

If he's crap, what is remotely sensible about an obligation to buy?

It'd be a purchase in all but name. Not sure why we'd do that instead of just buying, unless delaying the spend is better for accounting purposes?

If he wanted to help the club, he would sign a contract then. Why stay and lose the club 15 million - he aint going to fire us to the PL lol.

Yeah but why would the deal be an obligation to buy if he becomes a free agent at the end of the years loan?

So they don’t lose him for nothing. They want some funds back however small they may be.

Why would Leicester loan us a player in their last year just to lose them to free at the end of it.

i guarantee it will be an obligation to buy, dressed up as a option to buy.

More like running out his contract to earn Meg buck next year

He’s been very clear to the club that he won’t sign a new deal. They know the script, he either stays and plays or goes this window. He doesn’t want go during January because it’s likely he would join a team struggling. From the horses mouth.

Exactly .
sign the contract and help us get to the premier league or leave. Don’t dress up pocketing the signing on fee in 12 months as some kind of honour or loyalty

That’s what I meant 1 year left/ last year of contract.

Read back what you're saying. He's a free agent at the end of the season but you're claiming we're entering into an agreement which would involve us paying Leicester a fee at that point out of the goodness of our hearts even though they no longer own him.

Or it benefits is to pay next summer rather than this.
