The gap between the 2 teams that night despite the scoreline was immense. It would have taken more than Wharton to change that.

Zubimendi is very good. Not sure Wharton is better than him yet. And certainly not far better.

Mainoo is not particularly good.

Mainoo is better as an attacking midfielder

Real Madrid are interested in Wharton.  He'd fit into their team perfectly.  They've lost modric.  He's the perfect player to play the number 6 role for them. His price tag will only be higher next summer

They've brought zubimendi in. I'd guess atm arsenal would see Wharton as a project player which is bullshit.  I think he'd slot alot quicker into real Madrid's side

Wharton will stay at Palace this season. It’s the best environment for him for now, a move now would only add pressure. He knows that as he’s got his head screwed on.

He’ll star at the World Cup and will be able to name his team after that. The lad is a different level, every top club in Europe will want him next summer.

Depends if Palace lose Geuhi and Eze which looks likely and maybe Mateta aswell then if I was Wharton I'd be looking to move this summer they will struggle if they lose those players
