In this whole sorry saga I wonder if they have got a ground to play their home matches on. Last season Ewood was used (I'm sure I read there was a financial inducement to do so) but I can't see it being used now given the status they have been dropped to.

Hiring another ground can be expensive. I know that a few years ago it was £2k per match to use the LFA facility in Leyland.

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if it's something they hadn't thought of.

They used to play on Griffin park.

They'll just make them play behind closed doors at the training ground.

I don't know if they can do BCD for competitive matches, but in the last few years the likes of Bristol City and West Ham have had their women's teams play at their training grounds as standard.

Is Brockhall set up for hosting spectators? Maybe something at UCLan? Seems York City and Durham Cestrians in Rovers's new division play on university facilities.

Wait it only costs £2k to hire out that stadium for a match?!

It might be more now but when a close friend was the Chief Executive there that was the charge.

Rovers play at Clitheroe, mothball Ewood in our 150th year, job done?

Ewood is mothballed already - the stadium is filthy.

Anyone who thinks they wouldn't do this to the mens team as well is living in an alternate reality.

They already deliberately relegated the club from the premier league.

Get ready for the messaging being put out that the championship is too expensive for the club to compete in and we've got to adjust expectations accordingly. It's coming.

The women's youth teams are already based at UClan, York City play at the Uni, small stadium in the middle of an athletics track. York City u23 play there also.

Surely we'd be better playing at local clubs in step 2, 3 or 4 with 3g facilities, investing in local infrastructure rather than carting to UClan, who fund Macclesfield and PNE academy.......
