5 centre midfielders isn't a squad overloads. We had 4 midfielders and were short after Tronstad and Travis got injured and Baker went back to Stoke.

Do you see the likes of Hedges, De Neve and Kargbo as capable of providing chances for the strikers?

Yes we need better crosses and passes into the box but I think we need just 1 holding midfielder and one getting forward to the box trying to score or playing that final passes. Yesterday our 2 holding midfielders didn't get forward much and try to be goal threat

venkys don`t want promotion,hence val and his team are doing a great job,sign a lot of players from the various 2nd divisions of europe then sell your best players,,it`ll kerp you away from those nasty promotion places,they`ll mosr likely give him a new contract next season for all his good work🤧

Agree with that bit, still dont think they WANT relegation, which imo they're taking a hell of a risk on.

Agree they don't want relegation.  They just don't care if the current plan ends in relegation.  If it does then they will just make further cuts.

They’re ambivalent about it. If the balance sheet dictates it they’ll be good with that.

Agree he still has to prove himself, he had a horrific start then a good set of results. It will be interesting to see how these first 5-10 games go.

I imagine he will be gone by Xmas either by rage quitting over lack of investment or due to results being so poor they have to sack him (which is probably due to the former).

Yes, it definitely feels like this could go very much the same way as JDT....team struggling at the wrong end of the table, Ismael starts getting more and more honest in the press over the lack of contract renewals and poor standard of summer signings...exit negotiated by the club and we're back to square one.

That's never happening imo, I think he's full square 100% behind "the project" and grateful to be earning £600k p.a.

From the nonchalant and matter of fact way he's been announcing the recent departures I think he knew from the outset that they would be leaving and that no serious attempt would be made to keep them. If it were otherwise he'd be fuming.

"Yes well, we thought Callum was going to sign but he received an offer he wishes to take"
