You won't get an answer on this.

Just look at his twitter feed, all players who leave are snakes and rats and everything Gestede does is wonderful.

Been a solid source for news at times over the years but it all does make me wonder who he really isย ๐Ÿค”

He also called the coalition statement the other week 'a load of nonsense' on Twitter, so yeah.....says it all really.

โ€˜Iโ€™d finished the football season feeling ok. Iโ€™d be about 30. Just before we started training again one of the guys at work decided to form a rugby league team. So I turned up just for the training. Iโ€™d not played rugby since school. ย I went on the wing because I was quick ( or so I thought ) . Weโ€™d been played about 10 minutes when my centre made a break, ย drew the cover, and gave me the ball. I thought - โ€ Iโ€™ll just burn this lot off now , a straight run to the try lineโ€ . Bloody hell, it felt like I was running in treacle, my legs started burning, the covering players ย caught me before Iโ€™d gone 25 to 30 yards !ย
That yard of pace I though I had and I relied on to get me out of trouble was gone forever.

A bitter insider posting transfer updates and painting players leaving as bad professionals whilst journalists are banned from asking certain questions is NOT good communication.

You would either have to be unwilling to criticise the club, a bit stupid or have a vested interest at the club to suggest otherwise.

Or maybe that particular people actually knows alot more of what is going on behind the scenes then any of us actually know.ย

But you want and others to banned Ismael from telling the supporters what is actually going on by sugar coating the truth or not answering questions? which one do you want?ย

You can tell youโ€™re a nice guy, most on here would get along with you having a pint, however you are so blind to everything BRFC itโ€™s frightening.

You don't quite drop off that quickly (speaking as someone who's noticed that I've lost a yard of pace recently), but it does sneak up on you.

People have to remember Batth isn't playing against 30-odd year olds in a kick about. He's playing against teenagers and 20 year olds at the peak of their powers. If you lose half a step it's noticeable.ย

Look at Casemiro at United - he runs like he's broken a hip and he's only 33 (supposedly). Professional sport is unforgiving.ย

What? Of course he/she clearly does know what is going on. They keep leaking transfer news etc before anyone else.

But it is not "good communication" and it is quire frankly amateurish and grossly unprofessional that we are blocking journalists from asking difficult questions, whilst an insider under an anonymous twitter account repeatedly tweets information. The motive for this is clearly to paint the club in a good or at least powerless light and to turn the anger onto outgoing players. The same account has also got into twitter spats with fans who see through them, for example calling (I think) Glen Mullan a "doom merchant."

If you genuinely think that tweeting club secrets through an anonymous twitter account, blocking difficult questions in press conferences and altering minutes from fans forums (which I know you have read but wont comment on) and acting petulantly and unprofessionally during those meetings is all good communication. Then even for you, that is ridiculous.

This is well beyond what Ismael says in press conferences. The only issue with the way he approaches those is (in line with man management issues he has had at previous clubs) it risks upsetting team mates and of course, alienating a player who hasnt yet been sold. My issues are not with Ismael.ย

they blocked questions about Travis after Ismael told the fans the situation regarding his situation and the fact he wants to leave us. Do we not want that? Ismael won't comment on Saturday post match after the Travis situation even when askedย

What tends to happen is that people generally believe what they want to hear.

Anything regarded as not being in line with the narrative, from both sides of the argument, is generally dismissed as lies.ย

Sorry but thatโ€™s rubbish. Itโ€™s a gradual decline unless ย youโ€™ve had a massive injury, bored of this excuse for players. Are you seriously saying, you go the to gym in may, by the time August arrives you canโ€™t do what you used to do and youโ€™re a shadow of your former self? garbage.

its willingness, mentality etc.

It is usually a gradual decline, but the speed of the decline varies.

There's a difference between dripping genuine info out and club propaganda to protect certain people.

We've no idea which it is but it's likely one of the two and the constant 'refused to play' seems to be the standard line chucked out. I can't see anyone in their right mind actually expecting Travis to play yesterday.

How long before he's tweeting 'Sonny refused to play' or 'Dom refused' ?

That's the thing with this regime, they're thick as pig shit. They use the same tired tactics over and over again. You only have to look through this message board over the last couple of years to see how many times their actions are accurately predicted.

One example: After the deliberate sabotage of the Lewis O'Brien transfer I posted that they would blame the EFL for the transfer failure. The very next day they came out with exactly that, trying to place the blame with the EFL and going through that ridiculous appeal process that cost a fortune.ย

Unfortunately there's still a lot of fans that are so completely brain dead they still believe this shit. One of them is a VERY frequent poster on this message board. Any guesses who it could be? I have no time for folk like that, they're completely pathetic and are as much of the problem as venkys.

Having a difference in opinion is one thing but denying reality is unacceptable. Believe the dog shit that the club puts out there is on par with climate change denial and belief in a flat earth.

Fair point on the first part, Chaddy.

However, please consider the following:

1) At least 11 people connected to the club have shared their experiences, issues and feelings about the club recently with Glen. All of those people have cited the hierarchy as being the problem and have mainly referred to one person in particular.

As you know, Glen has come up with valuable info numerous times over the years and doesn't post these things on a whim.

2) On the other side of the equation, we've seen a couple of ITK's come out in recent times blaming former managers, players and some current players for leaving/wanting to leave. The general theme from these ITK's has been along the lines of those managers/players being snakes, knobheads, greedy, egotistical, unrealistic, demanding, spoilt and so on.

This line of info leaking out, is clearly pro regime, pro Pasha, pro Gestede, even if the person sharing it doesn't intend it to be so. Folk like Unleaded are probably sharing what they have been told in good faith based on what he deems to be good sources. Fair enough.

Surely though, you and everybody else can see the possibility that there is a split in the camp. There is conflicting info being shared. Both sides can't be right. It depends who you choose to believe at the end of the day.

Personally, after experiencing 15 years of this shit show and seeing consecutive managers leave in the same way recently... it's not a question for me as to who I believe. The same patterns are repeating themselves. The same root cause.

Those who defend the hierarchy within the fanbase, do not like what Glen and the Coalition are doing. They do not like what we say on here, because it hits a nerve. It shakes their fake positive bubble to listen to and read what we have to say.

I've not seen it myself, but posters say Unleaded was critical of the Coalition statement. Why is that? We are trying to get our club back and that statement was about putting the truth out there.

Instead of the "just be positive, man" stuff, look at actual happenings at the club. If things are genuinely positive at the club and whoever says otherwise is just a moaning bastard, why have all the recent departures happened?

If people are fond of looking for snakes, they don't need to go to Derby or Sweden or Spain to find one. I suggest they look 'closer to home'.

They change the cast every few years and they think they are doing something different and can't seem to understand why they get stick.

They should ask the producers because they give the same script out over and over.

If George Orwell wrote a '1984 - Football' novel then we would be it.

I'm open minded about the approach by Gestede, I hope he succeeds, although I suppose success is different to different people.

It was Waggott out, now it's Gestede out, it wouldn't matter who replaced Gestede, it would be get them out, which is why I take any criticism from certain posters with a pinch of salt. I'm not on Facebook or Twitter either.ย

As for club stuff, it's generally so bland, I hardly ever read it, unless we've actually signed someone . Why people scrutinise press conferences is beyond me, some of the Eustace stuff written on here in the early days was mental.ย

So, I hope Gestede and Ismael know what they're doing and get it "right " , the recruitment team have got it all to do.ย ย

Mulgrew was a shite player, he did well in league one, was never up to championship standard pal, shite player.

your only basing that on mowbray partnering him with a lazy and disinterested jack rodwell at the back, then tony blaming him and raya for letting ****loads of goals in,mowbray definately at fault that season for not buying a couple of decent defenders instead of spending 13 million on gallagher and brereton

I reckon he'll do alright there. He's got good control and a top notch work rate.ย

They play the game on the ground which will suit him much better than longer balls over the top.
