He had one year left on his deal so essentially the new two year deal incorporates the one year loan and if it doesn’t work out his club is covered- sensible all round.

Right winger is a must! I have a feeling we will sign a loan striker too

They must have a good deal in place with Cantwells agent i cannot believe they've no tried to get him out the door pronto given his alleged wage.

Must be some nice kickbacks promised if he gets a good gig somewhere next summer courtesy of his time here.

I get that but he scored a few goals and got a few assists in the Swiss league. Surely can't be the attacking player we need to come in and be expected to score the goals and provide that assists we need.

So, fwiw they must REALLY like Baradji, to the point that they’ve obviously waived the injury issue but negotiated the deal down to mitigate the potential risk. Travis is replaceable, I hope this guy fits the bill (when fit).

The winger from St Pauli must qualify with enough GBE points because we don’t have any esc slots left.

Im really hoping we don’t lose any more of our key players and we get a couple of Prem forward loans after Baradji and the supposed winger 🤞🏽

Gueye top, Axel, Tavares, Beradji, Miller, Hyam, Mcgloughlin, Alebiosu, means Tronstad, Kargbo & Ribeiro will be the only players under 6ft 2... I hope that bloody counts for something.

Still a Club "asset" irrespective of my opinion on him.

I'd have said Dolan, Travis and Brittain were the  extensions we really needed to see done but unsurprisingly all 3 gone.

Tronstad and Hyam I'd be less worried about but I dont suppose we'll get those done either.

As things stand we can't even persuade Hedges to sign a new deal. (Not that we want to but the point stands)

I was just wondering whether he could only get a one year visa (lack of English) and that’s why the loan with a view.

I’m sure there are far more likely reasons though.

Just sat here thinking ever since Travis has left (snake) Tronstad, Hyam or Cantwell are starting to feel snake like.  Not sure why, it's just come over me.  

 

Is there any European 2nd divisioners we can replace them with? The snakes

Sell our captain, academy developed lynchpin and leader of the side, outstanding fitness record, to a league rival for an undervalue, then replace him with the loan signing of a bloke who has been in Switzerland with very serious fitness concerns.

Sustainable? No. Sensible? No. A huge gamble? Yes.

Please can those still oblivious to what is going on here wake up and smell the coffee. They're juggling the club's future and league status, playing games, earning %s and sending us on a very dangerous path.

The hope now has to be, now almost all the players who didn't want to play for the manager spreading bad vibes everywhere have been shipped out... This questionable manager has got the types of players in he wants to work with and it yields results. A win tomorrow with some good performances from the new boys will really lift spirits. 

 

There is a massive amount of pressure on Gestede because it's clearly his and his teams approach to be a trading club of finding unproven European gems. If it fails... His career in the board rooms of football SHOULD be dead.

Travis, Britain, Batth, Wiemann, Dolan, etc are not snakes. They've been managed out.

Good work from the club though because snakes fits the narrative it's the players/manager's fault and deflects the attention away from the shit show.
