If signing a player injured, who plays very little or not at all (He may well play yet who knows) then it shows that making the team, let alone improving it, is secondary to ensuring that the signing takes place

For whose benefit is that then, certainly not Blackburn Rovers.

Yes, I suspect they hope Tronstad keeps fit and then make do with the other 3 until Bardji is fit. Also perhaps hoping that new personnel up top might take some pressure off if we are scoring some goals.

I can actually see Gudjohnsen doing well here - he's the type of striker we've been missing.

They'll be trying, but without those ESC places to play with and this hard £10k a week salary cap options will be very limited.

Any of those targets from the Continent that would suit the above criteria would already be over for a medical (and those tend to leak out) so I suspect we're not going to sign anyone.

At this stage, the only ones happening, both on a logistical & financial point, due to the points you mention, will be teenagers on loan from the Premier League

Just waiting on that confirmation that Elliott Jackson has had it confirmed from the club that we are 100% done.

Then we can enjoy the push of ignoring the gaps in the squad. Phrases like happy with the numbers, dont want to upset senior players and creating pathways can come out.

Or they've kept the transfer of a bloke with multiple international caps / a British passport who currently plays on the Continent incredibly quiet. I'd be impressed if that's the case.
