If you think a 32 year old analyst, or a someone with u15s level academy coaching experience is a huge step up on Jordan, then that’s up to you!

It's about the level of experience running backroom operations at a professional football club.

Personally I don't care either way.

I’ve said it multiple times, and in the main post - if you’ve an ambitious owner who hires expertise, you don’t end up with a black hole throughout the transfer window and then take a punt on someone without experience.

That said, like a few others probably feel - I like to a certain extent the potential appointment based on his previous exemplary service, and his potential knowledge / links in the game.

I find it so hard to understand why there can’t be nuance sometimes.

Out of OUR club.  NOW and an apology before you leave.  If what I have read is even remotely true, shameful.

Ismeal 'Jordan I'd like to take out a loan...for a player'

Rhodes 'do you have any collateral?'

Ismeal 'sorry my director Has left my team desolate, he's sold off all my collateral, I'm destitute'.

Rhodes 'then no'

I also wonder who would sit if Tronstad got injured. The others all seem similar types.

I have a feeling of dread that the answer to that question is Forshaw (when/if he is fit)

Baradji, Tavares, TGH, & Montgomery all look more like box to box options to me

So Jordan Rhodes is to look after and develop loan Players?  Which loan players?

There will be a flurry of loans to non league in the coming weeks, as there was last season

In the latest episode of Jobs For The Boys…

Jordan Rhodes has been appointed our new Loans Manager

He was watching the under 21 team at Preston yesterday.

I forgot to add that Stuart Jones was also watching.

Cheers - any other key points from this?

Says that Eustace didn’t leave for family reasons. Maybe the inflatable snakes for the anniversary game may be popped

Anyone who turns up with one of those needs it ramming up their arse.

The reason Derby are 'Derby Rovers' is down to Blackburn Rovers incompetence and lack of ambition nothing more nothing less.

Surely even the boo boys, who one min shout Venkys Out then turn up to have a go at the former head coach and players, can see the irony in it.

Keep sights on the real targets not the departed.

We all know the real reasons for him to leave and this is nothing to do with him being a snake - it’s a sad sight fans blaming each other or people who leave the club when we all know what the common denominator is

re derby I wonder if half of our team who know play there will say anything about the real snakes at our club in their interviews, I don’t follow derby news but would be interested

My concern about Rhodes being Loan Manager is as much about the fact we appear to have created this role this summer (jobs for the boys) as about his ability.

Prior to this summer, the role was seemingly done by the coaches/academy manager?

Or did we have one I didn’t know about?

Nope they haven’t which I find annoying

to me you can’t claim to love the club but be happy to sit in silence

Get Forshaw fit, bring in some Prem kid loan cover in Jan the flog Tronstad would be my guess.

I would say this will only happen if we are ok in the league but i genuinely don't think they give a stuff about that it's all about realising whatever assets are left.

Then move onto the expiring in ‘27 cohort? (which includes both senior ‘keepers)

If Toth keeps playing well he'll probably be the next 2 mill plus sale.

If we did they weren't very good. Think most of our loans out last year flopped.

Yep, that RoversXtra account picked it up within a couple of hours of it being posted on here

Charlie Adam was loans manager at Burnley for a good while.

I'd be very surprised if Rhodes hasn't done several badges already, the PFA offer fully funded B license courses to all senior players, most are able to undertake the practicals, etc at their own clubs. All scholars complete C license as part of their EFL/PL education package.

No it isn't.  24th June 2025. It's a shade over 2 months old, hence him speaking about Eustace's departure.

You're so negative ! Get behind the boys and show some optimism. Our Norwegian Midfielder is a time travelling psychic FFS. Fed up of these conspiracies. Rudy said it was family reasons,  everyone wants to live in Derbyshire we can't compete with the peak district.

I know he's good at interceptions but I didn't think he was psychic
