You and me have different understandings of local if you're flying from Gatwick!

I meant my family living over here are local to elche so it's got some importance to it, too many shandies today not speaking total sense :D

To those who went to the first match. Is the parking close to the ground?

Yes, free parking at the ground. I had to walk about 30 steps to be in the ground, from where I parked. I would say get in an hour early too if you can, as there is a lovely bar area and the seats in the stadium are a minutes walk from the bar.

Thanks. Driving from Torrevieja. Will probably be there 30 mins before kick-off. Living in Norway this is my first game in 11 years! I am stoked!

I don’t know about where you live in Spain but in the bit we frequent all parking is free. The only time we pay for parking is at Almeria airport and it’s really cheap. Something like 1€ for 15 minutes.

Same with traffic lights. In a 1-1/4 hr journey from the airport to the village we pass 1 set of traffic lights. They do like a double round about though. You have to have your wits about you then. Nobody seems to know the rules.

Not as bad as this one in Swindon though Tyrone? 😂

I used it a couple of times and really was confused.

Stick to the autopista (AP7) it is very easy to find that way.

I spend time in both Almoradi ( Alicante area) and Oliva (Valencia area).

Not free parking everywhere, but a lot cheaper than the UK like everything else.

I want them in blue and white. For me this is revenge for England v spain, I am a local to elche, so this game means so much more!

I prefer them in blue and white, the original shirts. Just saying, the gold shirts look classy.

Can anyone confirm the kick off time - Spanish time?

Rovers website useless - Fixtures page says 8pm but the buy a match pass page says 7pm (or 6 uk)🤦🏻‍♂️

Venue website says 7pm local time.

I can't link the tweet right now but it's on there from this morning

Outside roundabouts go clockwise inside roundabout goes anti-clockwise

Same mistake as the site made for the Qatar match too.

Time zones confuse Rovers- particularly the one between Preston and Blackburn on transfer deadline day...

The theory is fine but being confronted by that monstrosity was daunting. 😂

Our shirts this season (of all seasons) are not the correct design. Where are the original quarters? Or as some would have it, "The halves reversed on the back".
