On the new season prediction thread half the posts have got us finishing in or just outside the top six. 

I cannot see it myself, I think this season is going to be pretty grim fare. I don't think we will go down but I think we will be spending most of the season looking over our shoulder. That prediction is before it's confirmed that Brittain has left and hopefully neither Travis or Tronstad leave or we will be in massive trouble.

Maybe not a bad thing if we get thrashed today. Puts more pressure and spotlight on a very poor transfer window to date and makes it undeniable that we are desperate for more players - and not just a couple of cheap squad players who can fill multiple positions, which is essentially what we've bought so far.

Our passing is diabolical. We can’t keep the ball to save our lives. There was a simple 15 yard pass to DeNeeve and we wallop it 40yards into touch. Nobody is playing well - 3/10 the lot of them. The shape of things to come I’m afraid.

NEC Nejmegen are in a decent top league kicking off next week. Shame Cantwell has a knock because he would have given them something to think about.

Only Tyjon doesn't look outclassed.

I don't think any team in the championship will press and knock it around as well as these do so not too worried on that front. We are lacking so much up at the top though.

De neve presses well but worried that's all he'll bring. And I'll shout it at the back RYAN HEDHES SHOULD NOT BE STARTING! Desperate for a RW.

There is too much chasing shadows and not enough guile. There’s no creativity at all in the team based on this display. We’re so desperate to have a decent right winger and a fast forward, but as usual we’ll not get one before the window closes. De Neve and hedges are just ball chasers and nothing more, complete wastes of space. Very worrying!!
