Never felt such animosity towards the board and the owners before the first home game of a new season. It used to always be an exciting day but due to their continuous negligence the squad is all over the place.

Gestede out

Pasha out

Venky's out!

If you read the article, it says different people will receive these caps throughout the season.

Thanks Parson.

@chaddyrovers You don’t need to like posts replying to me, and then copy and paste it as your own quote too.

It’s part of why you have a reputation of being unable to form or properly defend your own opinions.

Rovers can bring back all the past successful players, managers to hype up the atmosphere. but the truth is the players dont really care and fall short of the quality and standard we should be showing.

4-0 to Birmingham. I hope im very wrong of course.

We hadn't lost to Burnley in over 30 years before this lot bought the club but now we haven't beaten them for over 15 years !

I was having this discussion with my son, in the 30 years prior to his birth I’d never seen us lose to them. In the first 10 years of his life he’s not seen us win.

Newell? Mowbray?

Not Kenny? Tugay? Shearer? Souness?

The fuckwits don't have memories going back further than the last cheque they signed (or the first) and so hold a bastardised concept of what history means for Blackburn Rovers. Expect even more public humiliation and shame as they haplessly and shamelessly scrabble around for anything to deflect attention from their complete and utter disrespecting of our club and community.

I challenge anyone to come up with a single example of anything that the Rao family have done that has brought anything of positive impact in the 5000 plus days they have held the keys to Ewood Park. They are the football equivalent of long Covid - unpleasant, unwanted, unseen (except for horrible symptoms) and difficult to dislodge.

Time to go, Venkys. The experiment failed long ago, and your continued ownership is the biggest single threat to the future of Blackburn Rovers.

VENKYS OUT!

WORK EXPERIENCE MAGPIE MEGALOMANIACS OUT!

HIDING IN THE SHADOWS INDIAN HENCHMEN OUT!

I find the cashing in/using Jack as a deflection tactic being employed more and more the last 6 months. Anytime there is unrest it seems a reference to a time (these lot have no place talking about) when Rovers were something to be proud of is rolled out. It really sticks in my craw

💯 agree although I still admire the fact that he'll never be forgotten and we do keep him in the forefront of our minds.

I know you say these lot have no place talking about him, I honestly don't think it's them so actually take my hat off to those still in the advertising that do mention him often.

I like seeing his face dotted around and though bitter at the present shenanigans it's nice to keep the good times alive and live in hope that we become the team we once were.

A debacle on and off the pitch, playing against a side on the up backed by a large following.

The writing is on the wall and it'll get a lot worse before it starts to get better.

I hope that I'm totally wrong, but I can't see beyond an easy away win here.

0-2

That’s a no-win scenario though isn’t it ?

Imagine a situation in the anniversary year where Jack wasn’t front & centre…we’d all kick off big style wouldn’t we?

I totally agree, I think it’s stark juxtaposition of the two periods in history so obviously laid out in front of us that make me uncomfortable/so aware of it.

As a 40 year old I’ve been very lucky in the heights I’d seen, fans older than me suffered many more dark days than I, the first 25 years of my life were mainly seeing rovers on the up or at the very pinnacle of success. It’s the almost wilful neglect of the Venky’s era against the image of Jack that drives our situation home most.

Is the game on the red button?

It wont be

It was only on last saturday due to the TV deal saying Sky could broadcast all first and last game of the season. apart from those, Saturday 3pms (when there is a full schedule) are a no go

Edit - if this is useful to anyone, this is Sky Sports list of Rovers fixtures, which they keep updated (after they inevitably switch games around for TV), and they add what channel it is on (assuming it is on TV)

There is also an "all football (live on Sky)" version

Yes,the greatest supporter this Club has ever known will always be never far from our thoughts but by christ to see these present day Shysters revel in his glory while at the same time dismantling everything he fought and strived for makes me want to retch.

Their Brass Neck is bloody astounding.

As for the game, a front 4 of Kyogo, Stansfield, Gray and Anderson terrifies me

Saw some highlights of their midweek cup match against Sheffield Utd. The pressing out of possession from Gray and Furuhashi was intense to say the least. Can easily see us concede within the first five minutes if we're not prepared for it and try to play it out from the back.

If the opposition are good at pressing, then don't fuck about with it at the back, this only plays to their strengths.

The high press is what I am very anxious about too. We will piss ourselves in defense if we try to play it out from the back. Hoof it as far as we are able to and keep tight, at least for the first 30 minutes.
