Exiled_Rover Posted yesterday at 14:17 Posted yesterday at 14:17 Shoulda dived there, Yuki - sadly it's rewarded. Quote
superniko Posted yesterday at 14:18 Posted yesterday at 14:18 Tavares looks hopeless. Has to be goals in this, both defences look shakey at best 1 Quote

If anything we look more lightweight and slower than 12 months ago. Watford certainly look quicker all over the pitch. I think you'll notice a big difference when Gudjohnsen gets on. As for Morishita - he's clearly a better football player than Dolan, so that's an improvement, even if he's probably only a shade faster. 1 Quote
NJRover Posted yesterday at 14:20 Posted yesterday at 14:20 What’s the deal with O’Hashi’s patches? Always falling off Quote

yankfan Posted yesterday at 14:22 Posted yesterday at 14:22 Stark contrast between the work rate of Travis and Tavares who seems to just walk around the pitch. 1 Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted yesterday at 14:27 Posted yesterday at 14:27 Unlucky for the second ball from either of those corners not to land to one of our players. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted yesterday at 14:28 Posted yesterday at 14:28 Ohashi can't keep starting. Offers little to nothing. 2 1 Quote
pick32 Posted yesterday at 14:28 Posted yesterday at 14:28 Rather have Forshaw playing, Tavares is hopeless 1 Quote

StHelensRover Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 Tavares has done nothing except raise my blood pressure since turning up at Ewood. Very early in his time here but there is nothing so far to suggest he is even as good as Travis, who was himself a standard, consistent, hard-working, championship level player- but nothing special. I feel like if he truly had anything about him either Leicester City or Porto would have kept hold of him, he wouldnt be at Ewood. 2 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted yesterday at 14:36 Posted yesterday at 14:36 Tavares seems to be Buckley mark 2. Clearly has a bit of ability but no work ethic. 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted yesterday at 14:36 Posted yesterday at 14:36 Wharton is wasted at CB - that cross is the best thing I've ever seen him do. 1 Quote
OsloRover Posted yesterday at 14:37 Posted yesterday at 14:37 On a positive note Wharton is playing very well 2 Quote
Bethnal Posted yesterday at 14:37 Posted yesterday at 14:37 Yeah, Morishita has quality, he’s an intelligent footballer. Poor cross, but his decision making is good and he plays the right way. 1 Quote

Disagree with all this - he's clearly working hard (hence why he's knackered on 60 mins). He's a bit too casual with the ball and he's been a little unlucky that his tackles (often as the second man in i.e. he's working hard) has skittered away to Millwall players. Need to see more from him, but I'm not massively discouraged yet. 1 Quote
