It might happen at a club that gives a shit about the fans.

I'm not sure it's ever happened at any club tbh. Let alone the day before a game (when weather reports would also be most accurate). But it's an interesting idea.

Do the authorities even allow it at such short notice?

Is he stood next to Dean Whitehead, about 10 seconds in?

I heard 'Sonny' shouted several times.

Wouldn't worry too much about our last game, something of a freak result.    They had a comedy goalkeeper devoid of confidence and on the day ability and a manager so under fire you wonder just how longer he can remain in the job.     We played well for once and on the day it all came together, can't hide from the fact (we were helped that) the opposition were so poor and just came apart the further we went ahead.

Games before that for us were by and large disappointing.   Couldn't win a game from 4 attempts and went out League Cup to Bromley, how embarrassing is that.    We have lots of new players come in during the window but McKenna's system simply can't accommodate them or they'll be left on the bench with not all being able to feature even from a subs role.

the relegation from the premier league hit us hard, we've sold out many of our most pivotal players since then including Delap, Broadhead and Hutchinson and brought in instead a number of unknowns who have yet to really establish themselves or make an impact on the Championship league.     Would want to win tomorrow obviously but there's too many factors holding us back or that makes me doubtful.

A draw up there would be satisfactory but we really need to be looking to win as we've lost a lot of ground on the promotion places even at such an early stage of a season such has been our poor start.

Anyone still waiting for tomorrow’s digital ticket to land in Inbox?

Did someone forget to press “send”?

I’m still waiting.
Not much to expect it 24 hrs before Ko.

I can just see this system going tits up one day.

Will my ST card still work if I bring it as backup?

They’ve  put a warning (for numpties like me) this pm on the X Rovers page against deleting the digital ticket from Apple Wallet.
Woops. Looked like I was just deleting the expired Norwich ticket!
Of course they’ve closed the ticket office at 4pm to frustrate the necessary remedial action advice!!

My retained ST card from last season should get me in.

The ticket office is open from 10 am tomorrow but your season card from last season should work unless you have moved areas or gone into another category. We have used ours for both home games so far.

Let's shake hands on a draw now and save you the trip.

I wonder if there's a chance of the game being called off tomorrow?

Torrential rain starting from the early hours of tomorrow and doesn't stop until later Saturday nights.

I reckon there will definitely be a pitch inspection.

The Ipswich team looked head & shoulders above ours on paper, not optimistic about this one. Once they get going, I think they are still the automatic promotion favorites comes end of the season.

Let's just hope they don't get going this week.
