Put the shovel down lads. You've dug deep enough already.

What on earth makes them think they have the right to pick the LT's reporters for them?

Personally Im not a fan of Jackson's reporting myself, but this is totally unfair, his liveliehood is at risk.

I really hope the LT dont cave in and tell the Club where to stick it and that they will choose their own staff thank you very much.

Well, the transfer window might be closed but one thing this club desperately needs is to sign up a competent CEO.

Hopefully Jackson will be able to carry on doing his job covering Rovers, but he won't be allowed access into the ground / training ground under media duties.

You can only imagine that it would have been the 'Suhail has blocked me from doing an interview post-transfer-window', as he name-drops Pasha directly.

What kind of egomaniac acts like this?
Oh yeah, Pasha.

I still don't understand what Elliott Jackson has done wrong and why he has been banned for.

I like Elliott and think he has done a good overall job.

Rovers and LT need to resolved this issue on Monday and sort it out ASAP

The 2nd Rovers statement suggests “this time…it’s personal…”

It sounds like he may have told the truth a bit more than some at Rovers would have liked

If he had stuck to the narrative of exciting transfer window, and greedy snakes, I am sure he would have been left alone

Jack said think big... All this shows me is just how fucking small time things are at the club these days... If you've got that much of time to be getting aggro about a local reporters words then fuck me, tells me everything I need to know.

Gestede is absolute fucking fairy.

The Club’s concerns about the local sports reporter don’t come close to the concerns that the fans have about the people banning him.

Not even close. Go think about that.

The only resolution to the 'issue' is for the owners to clear off and take their disgraceful henchmen with them.

I always thought Jackson was basically a meek reporter being fed fluff pieces by the Club, if this trivial stuff is enough to spook them to this extent, Imagine what kind of real dirt and damage a proper investigative journalist could do...which they may have just unleashed on themselves, by inadvertently making Jackson a journalism martyr, (here's hoping)

I’ll eat my hat if the LT weren’t already under strict instructions from the club leadership to not put Rovers in any kind of negative light, but this is a new low.

Does seem to suggest there is increasing paranoia and insecurity within certain people at the club.

Waggott only sprung into action if there was unrest in the stands (who could forget the infamous impromptu fan group meeting) - he and Mowbray would lay down the occasional guilt trip and everything would settle down. I don't think Waggott gave the LT a second thought, because he knew as long as he had the fans and the owners onside he was set. The local press was just noise.

The current regime don't seem to feel that same security.

Nah, let them keep digging. I'm interested to see how far they can go.

Seemingly the bottom of the barrel has a basement.

This is the kind of thing that might get the happy clappers on side to be honest. Hopefully Glen and the various trusts + the national side from Winter will hit this hard.
