Weather forecast for this weekend is terrible. I hope we don’t have another game abandoned or postponed.

Not really. Just light showers and a bit of sun. It’s just Friday that it’s pretty much rainy all day.

In your first statement you didn't say, without attacking, you said you could only win with, all out attacking. Taking it to an extreme, you could attack once in a game, and score in that attack, then end up winning 1-0.

Look at teams like Man utd under ferguson, all out attack, beating teams like Arsenal 8-2.

Under a manager who once said that attacks win you matches but defences win you titles.

Clearly, the ONLY way to win games isnt by going all out attack.

It will be a bit chilly on Tuesday evening.  If the Stasi want to search me for sneaking in an illicit pie they will have to put their hands down my undies to find my warm peppered steak.

Whatever you do, don’t buy any sausages.

Hopefully we wont see the same starting line up as against charlton again, but I think Ismael has his favourites now!  Not sure the reluctance to start Gudjonsson. I'm assuming Albiolusi (Spelling?) is injured.  The options at left wing are pretty dire.

                          Toth

Miller McGloughlin Wharton Ribiero

                 Tronstadt  TGH

Moreshita      Cantwell      Yuki

                  Gudjohnsson

Need to get points on the board.

The Stoke game could be at risk of a water logged pitch.

Very unlikely. Raining all night Friday but light showers in the morning on Saturday and some sun as well. So will dry up.

Yes but if the River Darwen is running high after a Friday deluge, the drainage would still be waterlogged the day after....

Get ready for one of the lowest attendances we've seen in years for a league match.

They've got away with this season so far due to good away support, but not tonight.

They'll announce the crowd as around 10-11k, in reality be around 7-8k inside Ewood.

Everything Jack Walker did for this club in rebuilding the trust and belief with the Fanbase has been thrown down the shitter.Makes my blood boil.

Will the crowd turn tonight if not three points or will it be polite applause as Gueye serenades those left in the BBE.....

I see Gardner-Hickman has been rolled out to do an interview on the official twitter saying how its his "second" home debut and to have a bit of a whinge about it again.

Well its opinion and unlike you he and others think the EFL is wrong decision.

Even this early into the new season tonight's game feels like a very hard watch from my own settee ! My hat is tipped to you guys in attendance, the club don't deserve your support but I have total respect for those who pay there money and rock up.

The decision is not the point. I never said it was the right decision either. But we need to get over it now, its been and gone, weve played a game since where we got battered in. Doesnt need a mention.

I'm getting fed up with this now.

The EFL have made the correct decision. You and others at Rovers might not like it given the circumstances, but that's how it is. It would be utterly ridiculous for them to let the result stand with probably 15 minutes+ left to play and even more ridiculous for them to have just played the last 10 minutes or so starting with Rovers being 1-0 up against 10 men.

There is no precedent for it in English football history and for good reason - it wouldn't work and would open the floodgates to all sorts of shenanigans in future when there are issues with the weather, floodlights etc.

If you are angry about it I suggest you spend less time worrying about the EFLs difficult but ultimately correct decision and more of your time working out whether Rovers have invested sufficiently in their facilities to ensure the pitch is in the best possible condition to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen.

I can safely say that Rovers could have done more, it isn't just the weather or the River Darwen, just as we had no issues with drainage getting games abandoned from 1992 - 2012.

Well, as I have said before, life in the Championship is when all is looking lost suddenly out of nowhere you pull out a great performance. And inversely you begin to get a bit of hope and it kicks you in the nuts.

We've had a few of each already this season. Anyone who tries to predict anything (hello Merce!) is a hostage to total fortune.

I'll watch tonight expecting the worst, but knowing there is a decent chance I will be surprised again. I guess that's the addiction of football. The championship is a particularly virulent concoction of the unpredictable.

Crucial game this, as it's one you would surely target 3 points from.  Looking at Swansea's league form so far this season, it doesn't stand up as great.

WINS

A win at home to Sheff United in August looked good at the time, but we've since learned they are a bit of a shambles. The only other win is away at the other basket-case club Sheff Weds. Both wins came in August.

DRAWS

Three home draws against three clubs that you expect to be mid-to-bottom come the end of the season - Hull, Watford, Millwall.

LOST

Lost away at Boro and Birmingham.
