Said to my dad they deserve to be much higher up the table based on performances to be fair but they haven't ground them out this season... Today they did so credit where it's due. They need to grind out more at home and let this be the start of good home form. Without good home form it's always going to be a long hard season, need to kick on from here.

Fair do’s that was the best half of football I’ve seen for ages, the players went all out for it and deserved the win. Great performances from Toth, Alebiosu, Montgomery.

A much, much needed win.

But let’s be honest, Soton were somehow even worse than Sheffield. Had it not been for Toth, we’d have lost comfortably.

On the plus side, I think McLoughlin and Osasha had good games - and pleasing to see Gudjohnson get his first goal.

Pleased with the win, but we need to be much better against better sides.

If we'd have been given the 3 points against Ipswich we'd be above Southampton.

Southampton were terrible and so were Rovers. The fans turned and then our players started playing.

Armstrong missed a couple and Ohashi could have had three or four.

I was happy to hear the Venkys Out chants even after our equaliser and winning goal.

I read that Southampton have won 4 out of their last 50 games, lol. Not difficult to see why. Think that unless they get their next appointment spot on they may well be scrapping it out at the bottom with us, Oxford, Norwich, etc. An unexpected addition to the relegation mini-league... welcome!

They played as a team. with purpose in the  second half. Belief is everything.

We will be fending off offers, if not in January then definietly in the Summer. And by fending off I obviously mean touting him to any club we think might have an interest.

Does him a disservice; it was a well taken goal, due to being in a good striker’s position.

You could see the confidence in him after it, fully looked the part after the goal.

Credit where it’s due 

Montgomery was a positive surprise when he came on, Miller was pretty solid. Unusually poor from Tronstad in patches

Good second half fight back. Armstrong felt sorry for us I guess. Toth with a good save though. Hopefully momentum can kick off from here…

Still cause for concern, 1st goal a cross that went in, second a poachers looseball. Forward line don't look much up to it otherwise. We're a much better team with Cantwell in it.  I did think our back 3 looked okay, albeit a bit slow up against Armstrong.etc. Toth two excellent saves.

Hedges the better option over De Neve for me..  not sure about morishita so far. I'm liking the look of Miller however.
