joey_big_nose Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Great performance... Not only winning the game, probably should have scored more, but completely limited Bristol City to virtually no chances. Really first rate. Hope Wharton and Toth are okay. Wanted Ismael out four games ago, but suddenly we look as good as we have done jn recent years, maybe the exception of JDTs first season. Championship football is so bizarre. Anyone who says they know what will happen in advance doesn't have a clue. 6 Quote
jim mk2 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Another very good win, and this one against one of our bogey teams. Never saw that happening. It’s come at a great cost though. Toth and Wharton will be badly missed if they’re out for a while Edited 7 hours ago by jim mk2 1 Quote

moerpho Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’m flabbergasted. Very happy, slightly drunk and so damn full of shame I didn’t convince my girlfriend to watch Rovers. Can’t win them all, but Rovers sure do these days. Onwards and upwards! 1 Quote

Might have come at a cost if Toth and Wharton are out for any length of time though. It wasn't a boring match thought it was a really good watch tbh 3 Quote

pick32 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago No Catnwell, Tronstad, or Carter for the Derby match, now add Wharton and Toth and it’s a nightmare. Big performance needed and great time for international break Quote
des Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Well done three wins in a row who would of believed it Quote

Alebiosu absolutely outstanding first half, strangely subdued second. Miller was brilliant mate work rate was fantastic, clinical tackles (apart from the one he DIDNT get booked for lol) always seemed to be there on the ground at full stretch cutting out balls and turning some of the forwards back to front 2 Quote
neophox Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Ismael had the same patch last season losing a lot of games then winning a lot of games until the end of season. There's been a big squad overhaul. I'm a bit impressed he s not afraid of benching players who doesn't play well Tavares , Gueye, Pears etc...super win against one of the top 5 sides so far. Quote

Injuries obviously a concern, just hope Wharton and Toth are not too bad. The yellow card for Tronstad was also unnecessary, Miller ( who had a good game) trying to play in the wrong areas. But onward and upwards Wharton looked all smiles at the end I think he'll be OK, Toth is the worry now Quote

Backroom Tom Posted 7 hours ago Backroom Posted 7 hours ago Why is everyone bigging up the Derby game like it’s an actual derby game? We’ve got 9 points in the last 3 and a bit of a cushion. It would be a blow to lose it but no more so than any other game, a few weeks back it looked like it could be a salt in the wounds moment, now just another 3 points on the line. 2 Quote
roverblue Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Great result, only caught the second half and looked a scrappy affair. Never expected 3 on the bounce a few games back! Fair play to the players and staff keep it up. Quote
Tugayisgod Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I make that 4 away wins, 0 goals conceded. Top stuff 2 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago How many tickets did we sell for this game, anybody know ? They all deserve a medal, it's a hell of a long way to go midweek, at least they'll be happy travelling back. 1 Quote

Kinda amazing that he managed to get injured in a game where the opponents didn't have a single shot on target 😂 Hope he's not out long...in fact I hope he is back for Derby but may be too much to ask. Pears is a better keeper than he was a couple of years ago, but...he still worries me in goal. Quote

Be mental to risk him with the international break coming, let the lad properly recover (that’s if he’s even close to coming back anyway) 1 Quote
Torgeir Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) The home side were always going to come out hard after the break. An excellent win for us and thought we stood the game out well with little to no help from the referee who got worse and worse by the minute. A few key players missing for the match on Saturday, thought Tronstad was excellent before he was let down by Miller and got his yellow. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant run of form! Really good goal as well. Gueye looks heavier than before, or am I seeing things? Edited 6 hours ago by Torgeir Quote
neophox Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago For me the big game changer has been starting Gardner-Hickman who is growing for every game. His work rate is fantastic. He's taking over the Lewis Travis shithousery for sure. 6 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted 6 hours ago Backroom Posted 6 hours ago (edited) When it comes to away games, it doesn't matter how you win as long as you win. Injury to Toth is a massive blow, have to either hope it's less serious than it appeared and he'll be back after internationals, or Pears comes into the team in one of his purple patches of form. Wharton injury a worry as well. Would be a shame if our lack of squad depth derailed what is turning into a superb run of form. Other than Sheffield United (0) we have the lowest number of draws with just 1 this season. We either win or we lose, no in between. Kind of like JDT's first season, but much lower in the table.
