G Somerset Rover Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not bringing in an actual CF is absolutely criminal. But to be fair to Venky’s, criminality is one thing they are good at. What’s the plan if Gudjohnsen is injured again? Or needs a rest? Rudy and Suhail need flogging - let alone ever letting inside Ewood again. 3 Quote

Doaksie Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A pathetic, amateurish, inept window, devoid of any foresight, structure or ultimate aim. Much like the core of the entire club - soiled, and meandering to a slow death. And totally predictable. Oversaw by a work experience public facing fall-guy 'learning' on the hop. I'd be shocked if any other club in the football league is as poorly ran. Whole club needs gutted and re-imagined 8 Quote

Forgetting to press buttons, literally unveiling players then not signing them. Do we think this one is the worst of all of them? Or is that just a recency bias? We needed players in several positions, especially a striker. We've bought two wingers and loaned a centre half. Then sacked the manager. All while we circle the plughole to L1. Any club might have one nightmare transfer window every few years, it happens. Our club just melts down every summer and every January. It's bonkers. We're in a worse position now but I'm not as furious as I was when O'Brien didn't sign. That may be because I'm now that disillusioned but that was a fucking dark day. 2 Quote
ROVER_N_OUT1978 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I would be inclined to use Igor and Valentin Joseph from the bench now. What choice do we have? #shambles 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Another disaster of a January window that leaves us ill equipped for a relegation fight. Especially in forward areas. This weird obsession with prioritising players who play 2 formations has actually left us short whichever way we play. Yet still with players who will be embarassingly deregistered. The squad is bloated yet inadequate. Cashin has looked useful in the last 2 games but we didnt need a short left footer who can play left back. Jorgensen has looked poor so far and Afolayan hasnt played in ages. They will hope that the Ismael news covers it up but it shouldnt. 2 Quote
Emerald Isle Rover Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m not too sure why people are worried about the squad list we could drop 10 an it wouldn’t annoy me 1 Quote
ROVER_N_OUT1978 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Play Jorgensen down the middle beside Andrii. I hate this wide forward crap Quote

More of the same as versus Hull should be enough to beat them? Would wait with both of those you mention if I was in charge, but would probably hand Joseph his debut before the end of the season. Members rog of the rovers Posted 1 hour ago Members Posted 1 hour ago Course I’d have liked a striker, but I’m not sure a panic buy with no manager was the right decision. Huge pressure on Gudjohnsen to stay fit. Quote

Huge pressure on Gudjohnsen to stay fit. We are in the bottom 3. We can't score. A panic buy is the least you would expect - sensibly a loan to help out the new manager. This regime were incapable of that. No manager we have ever heard of takes this job, with this league position, 'board', 'project' and squad. Quote
DeeCee Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Not ours obviously but Kalvin Phillips to Sheffield United is great business, they'll be in the playoffs I expect. Can't believe he's 30 years old 🤔 Quote

I hate this wide forward crap Jorgensen definitely looks better suited as a number 9, doesn't have the attributes to play on the wings. Again it's laughable people giving opinions that he's a poor signing. 2 Quote
