To be fair, Mercer didnt name the player. He just said that a striker is signing.

It turned out for a change to be true so fair play but I am not sure saying an unnamed player will sign is a huge scoop. Nor was the skepticism unwarranted considering the track record in question.

C'mn be fair. Mercer's tip was correct. He didn't name the player because he didn't know the name.

Let's hope he's also right about a new offer for the Club.

What? What do you see to cling on to?

I don't really know, just think he might come good.

I did say fair play but saying that a player will sign without naming him is hardly a massive scoop.

I haven't seen a single attribute that makes me positive about him potentially coming good.

I didn't know if maybe you have.

As long as we file the paperwork. Not our strong point as a club.

Also, he only signed on 31st January. So wouldn't that be the earliest we could convert him? And how long does it take for the paperwork to settle?

Apologies if I've asked this before.

The earliest we could apply to convert was 1st January as it has to be done during an open window with a full window having passed since the initial registration.

I’ve no idea on timescales for paperwork sorry.

Why, what's he accused of?

Probably nothing worse than rovers fans deserting their club.

Best judged in his preferred position but correctly so as of now been a massive flop if your asking for a single attribute to be positive about he gets himself in some great positions has an eye for where to be….its the next step when in the position to date has badly let him down

No idea what to make of Jorgensen, know nothing at all about him. 25 years old and 6ft1.

He hasn't played at a high level regularly, though has played in the Champions League this year.

His goal record across his whole career is 58 in 174 according to Wiki, so one goal in three, not too bad.

Fingers crossed he's an Alebiosu or a Gudjohnsen and not a Dennis or Gueye.

Unfortunately for him, he isn't going to get much time, we're in the mire so he needs to hit the ground running. Good luck to him.

He's quoting the club's article

Of course he is - he had no idea this signing was happening so probably spent about 5 minutes checking into who he was before submitting.

Can't really offer anything other than a hunch, it often happens that players need time to adapt, and I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

Good to go for a player with a solid goal scoring record. Much rather that than someone at a higher level who hasn't scored recently.

Hope for Jackson’s sake Donnum happens. There will be some very disappointed folk if it doesn’t (myself included). That would have been a very good signing.

Open minded about Jorgensen - good we have seemingly spent some money! Decent record and as ever the challenge will be the adjustment to the championship.

Jackson will look like a right fool if donumm is false then. Maybe that was just to cover up jorgensen? Who knows.

I fear he has got it wrong. It just doesnt add up that one of Toulouse's best performers this season would join a club fighting to stay up in the championship. They are 8th in the French league.
