I think this has got a Rovers win written all over it tonight. We've been decent on the road and have got results at Leicester and Bristol City when most expected us to get battered.

We were comfortable at Coventry for 60 odd minutes and were only undone by two long range goals. We have shown we can be organised and tough to break down away from home. I don't see why we can't be again tonight.

This lot are getting carried away and are being lulled by our League position and after hearing about a couple of injuries. You'd think Dobbin is Benzema listening to them. They have better players than us all over the park, apparently. We'll see about that.

Fancy us to do a job on them.

Blackpool's rivals 1-2 Rovers.

Of course folks are allowed their opinion. Doesn't make their opinion correct though.

They are in our squad so back them rather than sack them. Like it or lump it.

If they are wearing our shirt they will always get support to do well however there is nothing wrong with not fancying them ability wise, it’s the nature of football and being a football supporter. Can’t be delusional and back them no matter what otherwise that would be the same for the owners

Don't wanna panic anyone but Tronstad looked to be limping off at the end of those celebration videos accompanied by the physio 🥲

Can we not pretend we're away in future eg have a long journey around the North in that super coach and then arrive at Ewood? Must be more ideas?

Yes of course, it’s all down to the magic coach. Waggott was a genius.

Good to see Sherwood talk us up a bit in the studio and slamming the ref for not sending Whiteman off. Watched too many pundits slag us off

Makes a change with Owd Timmy!

The more I watch that lunge on Baradji the worse it gets😠

They're all the same at work all grilling me on it all. I just said look lads, if your entire month has been about waiting for tonight then hats off to you but you've no idea what a pure rivalry looks and feels like. We do and it ain't you lot, you're just another team I'm afraid. Enjoy your cup final 🤣

Can't wait for Monday morning

There is something about north end, I don't know if it's from reading their forum and all the vile comments they make about us, forming some form of rivalry that's never been there for most of us. But beating them just gets me right in the feels, you just know they are sat at home now with there head in their hands, absolutely gutted.

There rivalry with blackpool is just a cover, they despise Blackburn Rovers and all of her achievements, they absolutley foam at the mouth over us.

I think over the course of time we've been really unlucky with this lot, they always manage to scab it, but it's now been years since theve beaten us, genuinely buzzing tonight.

Some great comments by sherwood aswell, he loves the rovers.

Officials very poor tonight. We all screamed penalty for the hand in the face,  how was it not given. As obvious as it comes.  There's nothing extra to add to whats already been said about that potentially career ending 'tackle' except it was totally deliberate. Again officials gave nothing.  Nob End started shit housing from the off, how many pushes in the back for the ref to actually see one.  Shocking display, just pathetic.  Good win. The two academy lads did brill. The two japanese lads did brill. Aggression throughout the team. Enjoyable win and well deserved.

An unexpectedly pleasant end to a torrid day (hangover and bad news are a lethal combo). Such a torrid day had me primed for a battering, but the golden boys were fully at it. I say that with the qualification that we are not a squad filled with quality, but there was a lot of graft and that’s always satisfying.

Pratt got through a debut in a hostile environment, under the lights, in front of the cameras and a strong and vocal away following. Excellent blocks, little bit of naïveté, but I’ll be more interested in his future performances to get a measure on him. Deserves a pat on the back.

Tronstad, Mori and Miller impressed me, but Hedges really was everywhere. I groaned entering Ewood for the Derby game and working out that we had him at LCB, but the fact is, he is our most reliable player right now and he’s got so much running in him. He gets a lot of grief, he deserves the credit for his performances recently. He’s clearly setting a standard of application.

I like to think I can get the measure of a player early on for Rovers, but I couldn’t tell you what I think of Baradji. I’m inclined to believe he’s showing the signs of a difficult lay-off and will need a gradual introduction to Championship. No pre-season means you never catch up, so I’ll reserve my opinion until I’ve seen a lot more. Bit of urgency needed in his play by the looks.

Friday night win makes the weekend easier, so I hope it’s as such for all of you.

This video is giving me a lot of joy:

Love Hedges reaction. Another excellent performance by him. He was great in Bristol the other week too.

Hes one of our top 5 reliable players. Moving him on is like moving on Hyam. Gets a lot of shit, but when hes gone suddenly seems not such a great idea.

He was brilliant today. Totally dependable in shoring up the left side and driving the ball up the pitch.

Top 5 reliable players for 3 months.

Honestly think the 352 is such a good system for him. Hes at his best covering ground and it suits him. I expect him to have a good full season in this setup.

I really had a problem with Morishita first half - so powder puff, but have to say he really fought his way back in and got better and better. Respect.
